Trump's Attempt To Create A Dynasty Is Illegal.
On September 7, 2019. there was a story reported on news websites that said Trump wanted a 'dynasty' that would rule for decades. The story quoted a Trump campaign manager named Brad Parscale. When Mr. Parscale made this statement, he was speaking at a convention of Republican party delegates in Indian Wells, California. Parscale said that Trump will be building 'a dynasty that will last for decades'. That's a quote from Parscale, not from Trump, but Trump didn't fire Parscale for saying it, and Trump didn't do anything to distance himself from Parscale's remarks. The problem is, a dynasty would be illegal under American law.
America started as a British colony, and there are many items in early American law that were written especially to prevent British-style monarchy from taking root here.. When the U.S.A. was becoming independent from England more than two hundred years ago, the leaders of the U.S.A. wrote laws that were intended to make sure that none of the elements of British monarchy would be repeated here. One of these items is Article 1, Section 9 of the U.S. Constitution. Article 1 Section 9 says that the U.S. government cannot bestow titles of nobility on any U.S. citizen. A title of nobility is an official title that shows your status as a member of the ruling class. For example, if you say your son is a prince, that is a title of nobility. If you say your daughter is a princess, that's a title of nobility.
The statement made by Parscale essentially grants a title of nobility to every member of Trump's family, this declaration is certainly illegal under American law, since it is certainly a violation of Article 1 Section 9. Trump should be impeached for this, since a president can be impeached and removed from office, if he is guilty of a violation of law. In Parscale's statement, Parscale remarked that Trump's relatives have 'amazing capabilities', but he didn't say what those capabilities were.
It was only a few hours later that another news story said that Trump had cancelled a 'secret meeting' with the Taliban. I guess that the Taliban is Trump's favorite terrorist group. Trump claimed that he was working on a peace deal with the Taliban, but his meeting with the Taliban had to be cancelled because the Taliban apparently had engaged in yet another terrorist attack, that killed one American soldier, and eleven other people. So how is Trump going to establish his dynasty? Is he going to use the Taliban to help him do it? Apparently he is. One of the first major scandals in the Trump administration was Trump's endorsement of waterboarding and other forms of torture. Trump infamously said 'torture works!' on one occasion, when a journalist asked him about torture. So, why does Trump need a secret meeting with the Taliban? Does he want to encourage the Taliban to use waterboarding and other forms of torture? I'm sure that Trump himself is too cowardly to answer that question.
