"Trust Me" He Says?

Updated on March 16, 2014

After all the continual lies that have spewed forth from both Obama and his minions he is once again on the "trust me" kick. All I can tell you is "don't." Even the little things like a legitimate long form birth certificate plumb evade you and he wants your trust? Really? And then many are stupid enough to do that with a snake oil salesman whose whole life is a figment of someone's imagination.

So we went from "trust me" on the NSA humma-humma to all the numerous Obamacare lies that sold our health care system down the river, and you with it, to his latest tinkering with the economy concerning overtime compensation and his ink pen. Now this is from a man who hasn't a clue about running anything other than his mouth. If you don't recognize his moves to divert attention from the other messes he has created under his watch then you are dumber than a box of rocks from Omaha. Yes Virginia, they do walk among us.

There should be no wonder why Obama's approval ratings keep sliding. Captain Obvious himself can get a clear picture on how fraudulent Barack Hussein Obama really is.

This is way too obvious and actually transparent as glass. The problem is that this latest move is all about politics and nothing but politics. It's part of Obama's political plan to push income inequality citing the plight of the poor and middle class which he hasn't helped during the last five (5) plus years in the first place. He wants to push this issue into the November mid-term election cycle. The Democrats believe they can win on this issue. I don't have it happening with everything else swirling around this fiasco of an administration.

The problem with what Obama is doing is that he doesn't know what he is doing. He has no business experience, executive experience and is nothing but a strict political partisan. It does no good to change overtime rule one without having jobs to apply it to. So lets put the cart before the horse once again as Obama, being the ideologue he is, has the proclivity to do. All talk and no action other than using his "pen" to try to solve problems. The man has a huge ego and a small, narrowly focused mentality.

Lets watch a video and then go on.,

"Easier" From A Man Who Knows Nothing About Business

Lets look at the reality of what Obama and his ill willed advisers have dreamed up to make the unemployment figures we keep seeing totally bogus and a smoke and mirrors act. This will follow the same pattern with employers that Obamacare being shoved down our throats has wrought. It is but another incentive for employers to get rid of one full time job and replace it with two part time jobs. Doing this, from Obama's perspective, makes the unemployment rate go down with out really having to have a job created. Two people are now doing the job of one person. Another mirror relflection of the Obamacare effect. The unemployment rate does not differentiate between full time and part time employees, both count as "employed". You haven't achieved anything but more inefficiency. Obama calls that "easier"? For whom may I ask?

Bureaucrats and academics must stay up late at night dreaming some of this stuff up. It doesn't work in the real world. It does temporarily divert attention away from the numerous scandals, mismanagement and corruption attached to Obama and his Chicago political crowd. This latest "fix" has to have been dreamed up by people who have never run a business, made a payroll or or have the slightest clue as to how the economy runs. Obama admits he doesn't know much, if anything, about economics and he wants us to trust him? This is going to be another broken promise that will backfire on our economy once again.

His "War on Poverty" is a fallacy and he wants to play the violin concerto about raising the minimum wage because you can't "support" a family on the minimum wage. Fact is minimum wage jobs are usually entry level jobs and not meant to support a family. Of course Obama has never really held a job so take that into consideration as you think about him. This whole thing about telling private sector employers what they will or won't pay is total nonsense. Minimum wage jobs are meant as a stepping stone along the employment path, not the dead end. The unintended consequence, but not to any employer, is that the purchasers of labor are then allowed to cherry pick the pool of prospects with unemployment as high as it is. It's called supply and demand folks which this administration doesn't seem to quite understand. That cherry picking will leave out students and low skilled entry employee prospects. They're out there in the cold. Raising the minimum wage in a bad economy raises the cost of doing business which has other consequences besides Obama's political agenda.

How totally illogical our typical left wing eggheads can be. They want to require employers to pay people more money. So this is supposed to inspire them to hire more people that they will then be required to pay even more money to? Really logical I take it. But they then hire two people to work part time at 25 hours instead of that one doing 50. That avoids Obama's overtime penalty. But it does have the effect of more hires that I previously mentioned without accomplishing anything but more part time jobs when we need full time jobs to be created. So the one person who had their hours cut to 25 has their take home pay cut in half. Brilliant move!

Those workers probably won't see it like Obama and his minions do. They do the smoke and mirrors routine while the workers get the shaft. All in the name of what? It's called Obama's income redistribution plan and that is a proven historical failure just as his administration will be judged. It's an ongoing disaster in progress.
