Trust Who? Obama Doesn't Get It!

Updated on January 18, 2014

Having just read an article or two about Obama's latest press blah blah concerning domestic spying it caused me to put pen to paper. One of the articles almost had me rolling on the floor laughing my butt off because he wants us to "trust" him. After all the lies he has told us since he first started campaigning, and gotten caught at them I might add, he must think his charisma outweighs his stupidity. I'd rather trust a rattle snake than I would a pathological liar like Obama. I've been around both and the snake is easier to deal with and more trustworthy,

Obama somehow doesn't seem to get the fact that the majority of Americans have lost trust in both him and our political institutions. In fact, the majority see the federal government as our biggest problem, not the solution. It's amazing that as his administrations adds to the string of lies and overstates anything that can possibly be overstated he asks for our trust.

Read The Polls About Trust Obama And Stop Talking Too Much

So then I cruised over to You Tube and called up "Trust Me Obama" and took a look see and the pattern was there again. Covering lies with more lies and misdirection. I'm still not sure Obama understands this new "information age" that captures his words and images.

Now understand this latest "trust me" plea was in the very same week where his administration released highly exaggerated numbers about Obamacare enrollment. Like we haven't caught onto all that nonsense out here in reality Barack? Multiple media outlets were all over the latest fairy tale that was released regarding his "signature piece" of legislation. So lets have some liberal know it all tell us how it is that numbers can be released when this administration continually tells us that they don't know what the numbers are? Save that line for low information voters Obama.

Previously I wrote a column called Your Weak In Review where I pointed out the weaknesses of all this side show activity but this will suffice for now. This past week was definitely not one to bolster trust in Barack Obama. I'm thinking that even the Lame Stream Media and members of his own party are starting to catch on to his glib lips. They are really hard to ignore.

Then there was the little fact that Obama, through Holder's Lack of Justice Department, first appointed a party hack and one of Obama's political campaign contributors to investigate the abuses of the Internal Revenue Service. Lets just have a partisan hack investigating the partisan abuses of the IRS. Talk about the fox guarding the hen house. Holder has it down to a fine art. Then it was revealed that the FBI says there will be no criminal charges brought against anyone for the abuses uncovered. Interesting in light of the fact that the FBI didn't bother to talk to the victims themselves before slapping the lid on that can of worms.

He promised a full investigation and I expect one minus any partisan hack investigator at the helm. People need to be held accountable and not put on paid leave and allowed to retire with pay and benefits so they can sip pina coladas in the Grand Cayman islands. There are still massive lawsuits that have been filed regarding this abuse of power. It's not going to go away as easily as Obama wants it to. In his mind the passage of time is the fix for his scandals.

Outrageous? Fully Accountable? Integrity? Trust You?

It gets worse. The US Senate Intelligence Committee rolls out a bi-partisan report on Benghazi shooting down everything Obama, Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, Jay Carney and all that other bevy of clowns put forward as the reason 4 Americans died at the hands of known terrorists. The New York Times had just put forward the same lie that they went in front of Lotty, Dotty and everybody about in an effort to cover Hillary's broad butt. The line was it was that darned video that really hadn't even made the Arab circuit when the incident occurred.

The report was rather blunt. It laid it on the line that the whole thing could have been prevented if the Obama administration had been paying attention to both intelligence reports and calls for assistance by Ambassador Steven's himself to the State Department. Lets take a look at the real time line the week all this came down and what Obama was, or in most cases wasn't, doing and paying attention to.

His focus was his own reelection. The question is then what was Hillary's focus while that week was happening? Seems she was asleep at the wheel? So now we're again supposed to trust either one of those political rattle snakes?

So in essence all that was coming down around his big ears and he steps in front of the microphone in front of the teleprompter waxing eloquent, but basically saying nothing about the NSA spying on the American people other than "trust him." I just don't think I will after all those lies he has been caught telling. Then he wants to bring Eric Holder into this picture. That is the same Holder who has been held in contempt of Congress.

I hope you caught my implication weaving its way through this article. His fix is to put his "internal measures" in place to alleviate the problems that are very evident to an intelligent person. All the "internal measures" previously mentioned here have been nothing more than cover ups. We, the People let Richard Nixon get away with far less than what Obama is guilty of. Why is my question.

As I listened to him, which is always painful for me, another thing I noticed was that he failed to mention the 200 million text messages that the NSA has collected so far which revelation had also just hit the news wires. What he basically said is that Big Brother is going to continue on as usual only someone else is going to store the data collected. Sounds like a version of bait and switch to me.

Mincing Words In August 2013

I think I'll take the course I've been on for a while. That would be not believing much the man says as soon as his lips start moving. I'm not sure how comfortable anyone should be with the knowledge that your phone records, emails and now text messages are being collected to benefit no one but you who initiates those communications. And now? He wants some unnamed third party entity to store that information for Big Brother itself.

Is there something wrong with that picture?

Origin of Left & Right...I have often wondered why it is that Conservatives are called the "right" and Liberals are called the "left”. By chance I stumbled upon this verse in the Bible:

"The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left." Ecclesiastes 10:2 (NIV)

Thus sayeth the Lord. Amen. Can't get any simpler than that.

"a good Conservative in the White House" now who would that be?

Well Frog, you've done it again, in providing an Excellent Hub...A little Humor, a little Wit, and Sadly, a lot of Truthism.

I look forward to 2016, in the hopes that things will change with a good Conservative in the White House, who also isn't afraid to make the necessary changes... BACK.

Hi Brenda, BPop. Doesn't BO remind you of this guy?

Eddie Haskell: [to Wally] Your father gave me a funny look when I came in... like I'm a teenage werewolf or something.

Eddie Haskell: Not me! Your father doesn't like me.

Wally Cleaver: Why would you say that?

Eddie Haskell: On account of the way he looks at me when he opens the door. Sometimes I think he'd be happier to see Kruschev standing there.

Eddie Haskell: Wally, if your dumb brother tags along, I'm gonna - oh, good afternoon, Mrs. Cleaver. I was just telling Wallace how pleasant it would be for Theodore to accompany us to the movies.

[Eddie's mother is concerned about him taking a summer job on an Alaskan fishing boat]

Agnes Haskell: It's such a rough life and Edward's so sensitive.

George Haskell: Sensitive? He's about as sensitive as an armadillo.

Eddie Haskell: [Beaver thinks he isn't going to graduate from 8th grade] Hey, that's tough, kid. Let me think. Maybe I can help you figure a way out of this.

Wally Cleaver: Listen, Beav. At this point, I don't think you want to be taking advice from Eddie.

Eddie Haskell: Are you kidding? I've been in an out of every kind of trouble there is in school.

Eddie Haskell: Hey, guys, like my new vest? I think it brings out the Peter Lawford in me.

June Cleaver: Eddie, would you care to stay for dinner? We're having roast beef.

Eddie Haskell: No thank you, Mrs. Cleaver. I really must be getting home. We're having squab this evening.

Anyone who is still willing to "trust" Obama is either a fool or die hard socialist waiting for the ultimate destruction of our nation. I have no patience for him, his entire administration, Congress and people who would willingly vote for him again.

Hi Frog Prince! Great expose once again; keeping up the good work I see! I'm in the same mood as Pamela99 these days----I can't hardly bear to hear the O speak, the outright lies and then the outright outrageous truths about his agenda (which people choose to ignore), the irony of it all, simply is unpalateable. So glad to see you and others still speaking out against the current tyranny we're under; you rock!

When did we start calling Federal Holidays 'Days of Service'?

I get the idea, but the things that are happening are turning that term into a precursor to the question 'what next'?

Ain't that the truth, the minute I see him speaking I turn the channel in disgust. I feel like I did when I was a child watching Leave It To Beaver and Eddie Haskel would enter the scene. Seeing Obama actually brings Eddie's image to my mind immediately. Guess that's what happens when you are approaching the twilight years. :-)

I do not listen to his lying speeches anymore. I may here a summary on FOX, but I can no longer tolerate listening to him speak. The things he has done to harm this country are too many to count. Jim, you tell it like it is and I appreciate that.

This man's lies know no end. If no criminal charges are warranted at the IRS, why was it necessary for Lois Lerner to plead the Fifth in Congress? Was she the ONLY one at the IRS who possibly committed a crime? Impossible - if such were the case she would have been acting insubordinately and had alot more than Congress to worry about. It's just like Operation Gunwalker. The top people at ATF couldn't have been conducting a self-contained black op, as otherwise Holder would have prosecuted them. So Holder had to be part of it. And since Holder wasn't brought to account by Obama, that means Obama approved the plan.

I imagine Obama's main, main, main objective right now is to get everything done on the list from his puppeteers before his time in office is up.

Anyone who has not yet watched the movie, Obama, needs to do so as an initial eye-opener.

Like you, I find it very difficult to listen to this man speak even for a few minutes. Voting up and pinning.

The truth is Will, most people, even liberals would not have anything to do with a friend, family member, teacher, co-worker or employer who constantly lied to their faces about anything in their personal life. Why is it that when it comes to politics or the government people will tolerate and even practice lying to the extent they would never accept in their personal lives."

Because we have been told over and over that all politicians are liars, so we have come to accept that as part of the process. If a politician lies to us like Obama has, it's really no surprise, and since we never trusted politicians in the first place, nothing was lost.

We do trust family, so when they lie to us, it's devastating.

The people are not aware of who the man is and what progressives are all about in todays world. What is most disturbing is good honest Democrat members of Congress not standing up for the people who elected them to Congress. Obama banned this video

It is scary that there are still people who trust him. I know it would be like one in 20 but that is very scary.

I just had a fellow comment adamantly about why our government shut down and yet he did not even know what ACA stood for. Some folks still just believe whatever this guy says.

      Keep teaching we need it.

It has been my experience that lying is essential to progressivism, because Americans who cherish their freedoms and liberties would never accept it if they spoke the truth.

If Americans had known that they would lose their insurance plans and their doctors, Obamacare would never have passed. If Americans had known that they would be paying far more for far less, Obamacare would never have passed. It was therefore essential that Obama and the Democrats lie about what Obamacare would mean to Americans.

The same goes for Benghazi. Had Americans known that the attack was Al Qaeda linked terrorism after Obama had declared it all but dead, he probably would have not been reelected.

Lying is essential when the truth means defeat.

Obama's calendar really does sum him up doesn't it? Shame is the media won't publish that. Could have had more though like where was he the night it occurred? And how he and Hillary were telling the families it was a video that caused it days later and they were going to "get" the videographer. The mainstream media didn't even mention the House report on Benghazi the day after it came out. Here is how they handled that news:

Keep telling the truth about Obama Frog, right on as usual!
