What Would Mitt Romney Have Done to Us Had He Bought the 2012 Election?

Affordable Healthcare (i.e. what he calls Obama Care) Now Romney and the republicans have the Supreme Court presiding over whether Affordable Healthcare is constitutional or not. The same people who said the elected President in 2008, was not the President they wanted in the White House.

Romney thinks that only the people of Massachusetts deserve affordable health care, and he thinks the rest of the country should pay private insurers their last dime for unaffordable health care or just evaporate.

"The mandate can indeed be characterized as a tax, as the Court found. But it is not a massive tax hike on the middle class, much less the biggest tax hike in American history. The tax imposed by the individual mandate amounts to either $695 or 2.5 percent of household income for those who don’t have insurance and are not exempt based on income levels. By comparison, the payroll tax cut extension Republicans repeatedly blocked earlier this year would have added 3.1 percentage points to the tax and cost the average family $1,500 a year.

The mandate, meanwhile, would hit a small amount of Americans — somewhere between 2 and 5 percent — according to a study from the Urban Institute. The number could be even lower depending on the law’s success: in Massachusetts, the only state with an insurance mandate, less than 1 percent of the state’s residents paid the penalty in 2009.(I guess the Mr. Romney forgot that)

The majority of the Affordable Care Act’s other taxes, such as a payroll tax increase and a tax on high-cost health plans, are aimed at upper-income Americans. In exchange, millions of jobs will be created as new people enter the health care system and millions of people will gain access to affordable, quality insurance that they otherwise would not have. And, as we detailed earlier today, the Court’s decision to uphold the entirety of the law will have significant benefits for the nation’s economy."

The full effect of the Affordable Care Act will NOT become fully active until 2014.

The string pullers are depending on Romney to take away all that the American people have gained. Can you afford to have your health limited to only when you are healthy, or taken away completely??

In spite of what Mr. Romney would have done to us, (the poor and middle class) I doubt he would have been worse than the man in the White House right now.

Do you really think that Romney is going to keep your tax where they are now? The only people who are getting a new tax break are the wealthy!

The handlers for Romney and the republican's LUST FOR POWER and LOVE OF MONEY plan to destroy anything or anybody in their path, and they are ready to take up the shovel and dig out the dirt from the hole President Obama has been filling and, continue to dig from where "W" left off.

Our Military, Service men and women: Army, Navy, Marines and, Coast Guard.

Romney wants to cut service personnel, their pay, their health care, and their pensions.

Who does he want to replace these military personnel with? Halliburton maybe?

United States Post Office: This government entity - supports itself.Romney wants to privatize the USPO. What entity would this be privatized to?

Fire Fighters: They are union workers.That is why Romney wants to lay them off.

Police Officers:They are also union workers, and one branch of the government.

Teachers: Teachers are also union worker, by getting rid of public education, republicans can eliminate the teachers union.

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA):Do you think Romney cares if we have clean air or, clean water?

Social Security: Social Security is paid for by "FICA" which is handled by the government, not paid for by the government. When Ronald Reagan was in office 1981-1989 could not abolish it he put a tax on Social Security.

Medicare: Romney/republicans want to reform Medicare (i.e. end Medicare as we know it). Every worker pays into Medicare, Social Security and Medicade through (FICA) payroll tax, but the republicans could take the FICA tax to pay for more tax breaks for the already wealthy.

Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA): FEMA, became an agency of the United States Department of Homeland Security, by Democratic President James Earl Carter (1977 -1981), by Presidential Reorganization Plan No. 3 of 1978 and implemented, by two (2) Executive Orders, April 1, 1979. (And, that was no April fool's, joke.)

Could that be the reason that Romney and the republicans wants to end FEMA, because the President at that time was Carter, the president republicans like to call a 'wimp'?

Do you know the purpose of FEMA? FEMA responds to and supports disaster recovery that occurred in the United States and its territories' where a state of emergency has been declared and, formal request from the president that FEMA and the federal government respond.

Eric Canter, of Virginia wants to end FEMA, but he wants to make sure FEMA provides aid his territory before it ends.

Education: I would do away with education, Rick Perry said, in a debate!

In 1994 Mitt Romney while Running for office called blind trusts "an age old ruse."

April 4th 2012, 18 years later I guess ruse does not mean the same thing it did when Romney first used the word, at least to Romney.

Per Encarta Dictionary, ruse: something done to deceive others!

At the end of this video there is a question, "If you can't trust Mitt Romney with the facts, how can we trust him to beat Barack Obama?

I thought to myself, 'I hope they are right, and the GOP can't depend on Romney to beat President Obama.'

And then I got a taste of reality! June 5, 2012. How did Scott Walker of Wisconsin, get people to vote against their-own self interest? Naiveté, ignorance, "WHAT", maybe apathy? Democratics are so apathetic (i.e. indifferent) they just may stay home instead of voting.

Is it like being in an abusive relationship, the more you get abused the more you choose to stay in that relationship?

How proud Wisconsinites must be that they saved the dragon slayer, I mean union slayer, to help other governors slay their unions and, destroy public education for poor and middle class.

Mr. Romney said, "we will win the White House."

No Mr. Romney, you will not win the White House! But, your Cabal, may buy it.

I heard Rachel of MSNBC say that the republicans can't buy our votes. No?

Rachel is right, they can't buy mine, but they may buy enough votes to purchase the White House seat

Public schools:

Romney wanted to privatize Public Schools. If he can close public schools and have children go to a private school with vouchers, this would eliminates union teachers. The private/privatized schools could charge whatever they want for tuition or deny students whom they consider unfit to go to their school.

In other words give the kids that Romney/republicans looks down on, vouchers to go to any school they want to. But what if that school does not want them?

What is the purpose of the voucher system? BREAKING THE UNIONS, the privatized schools do not have to hire union teachers. The down side is the private/privatized schools do not have to accept the public school children.

No more public schools in Louisiana???

The Louisiana governor, Bobby Jindal has closed the public schools in favor of private schools.

For the coming school year, at least this year . . . children will get a voucher to pay for the school they wish to attend.

That is one way to break the teachers Unions, and fire those greedy teachers, who dare to request competitive wages.

What if the PRIVATE school of choice will not accept the public school children? What if they don't want children who are not as smart as they think they should be that they consider 'not as good' or LOWER CLASS than the wealthy children, for whatever reason and the public schools have been abolished. Where do these children go to learn?

What happens when the private school children's parents say "why do the public school children get a voucher to a private school and, I have to pay for my child/children to go to the same school?"

What does this mean to union teachers? Are all public school teachers laid-off?

Has the covid-19 shutdown shown Mr. Romney what it will be like without public schools?

Tapper: The documents being blocked through executive privilege, are nay of them to or from individuals in the White House, or are they all internal DOJ documents?

Carney: I don't have a way to characterize the documents in question here. I can tell you that long ago the administration provided documentation about specific questions regarding officials at the White House and the national security staff. That was a long time ago, again -- and which speaks to -- it was last fall -- speaks to how prolonged this political investigation has been ongoing.

The point I made earlier is that this is an assertion based on the absolute need for the President, as steward of the executive branch -- not just for his administration but for every administration going forward -- to retain the separation of powers, to protedt the capacity of the executive branch, to deliberate on the matters and to work independently and appropriately in response to these kind of inquires.

The issue here has been the operation known as Fast and Furious. And that operation is being thoroughly investigated by the inspector general, who has access to all these documents, including the ones that you're asking about. And when it comes to the operation itself, everything has been provided to congressional investigators. And that is really the issues, isn't it? It is, how did this operation come about? It originated in a field office during the previous administration. It was ended under this administration by this attorney general.

Attorney General Holder, could have kept quiet about Florida's suppression of the vote, but he didn't. So special interest groups and their Republicans went looking for ways to stop the Attorney General from interfering with disenfranchising voters and, they only had to go back to the bush adiminstration and, they found the tactics leading up to Fast and Furious

My understanding is the tactics leading up to Fast and Furious began under George W. Bush and Alberto Gonzalez and when Attorney General Holder discovered the tactics and believe them to be flawed; he then referred it to an inspector general. Now the republican congress wants this attorney general to turn over 'classified information'. Why?

Does the republican party want these documents on top of the 7,600 already provided?

Does congress want the documents to do a 'cover-up' of the wrong doing by the previous administration? What would they do with the documents, destroy them, maybe to blame the President for the Bush tactics?

We all know that the only goal of the republican party is to undermine the democratic party in general and President Obama in particular?



Congressman Darrell Issa is leading the investigation into the Fast & Furious ATF scandal and his committee recommended Attorney General Eric Holder for contempt charges, but he admitted to Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday today that so far, there is no evidence connecting the scandal directly to the White House and Obama administration.

Wallace played a clip of House Speaker John Boehner saying that the invocation of executive privilege is “an admission” of guilt on the part of the White House. Wallace asked Issa directly if “any evidence” currently supports the claim that White House officials were at all involved with the operation or a cover-up of any kind.

Wow! whoever pulled Derrell Issa's string must have really put a choke-hold on him.
