What Liberals and Socialist can't stand about their Utopian views - The Truth!
Capitalism is the answer to prosperity for all!
So I am reading the comments by people who believe in socialism, and like liberals in America, they have a disdain for free market capitalism. This is because they wrongly believe that capitalism hurts the poor, and only benefits the rich. The sorry truth for these people, is that the liberals and social planners are the ones with the money, the only motive for them is to keep people down, and the poor poorer! They want to control as many people as they can, which is something that the ruling class has endeavored to do since the beginning of time.
Then, the United States comes along with the philosophy that we have inealiable rights to freedom and property rights, along with limited government. As the country...a new country, on a continent that was discovered by people who fled other countries to escape tyranny and a rule of government with limited freedom. This country became a super power in the world in less than 200 years, with the ideology to protect freedom for ourselves, as well as the oppressed throughout the world.
The liberals and socialist don't want to buy into this, because they essentially hate the country as it was formed. To have free people make their own decisions based on their free will, is something a liberal cannot stand. This bothers the socialist, because they believe the economic system favors individuals, especially those with wealth, and think the best wait to make everything even is the proper distribution of wealth. When you make that decision to redistribute wealth, you have to be careful because the question is...who makes the decisions that are supposed to benefit the people? Often, this ends up being a selfish pursuit of power which is what the socialist will tell you that capitalism is all about.
What has to be understood, is that although our DNA of Americans is no different than the DNA of someone in South America, the fact is we have brought prosperity to the world. Any economist will tell you that when the economic engine of the United States has a cold, the rest of the world sneezes. This is largely due to our consumption of goods and raw material, but the question is...what is wrong with that? By importing raw materials...someone had to produce that, and the country of origin has a right to say - no, we won't sell you that because you are exploiting our people! Yet, they willingly sell us the materials because that is what the free market is all about, and guess what folks? It is a win/win for everyone. This also is true for finished goods, so why don't liberals understand this concept?
First, liberals always consider themselves do-gooders who are looking out for the little guy, but the truth is, most liberals are hypocrites when it comes to living their lives and how they think others should live. Al Gore, a flaming liberal who is making huge money off the FUZZY science called Global Warming. While he is telling everyone how we are ruining the planet, he is flying in G-IV jet airplanes to tell everyone how they are wrecking the planet. In the meantime, he is riding around in limousines, buying houses, and polluting the planet worse than the people he is blaming for the problem. Another liberal who is a hypocrite is Warren Buffett. Smart guy no doubt, but here is someone who lives off the capitalistic system, yet pays MINIMAL taxes because he is smart. He hires the best accountants in the world to make him the most money, yet I haven't seen him write extra checks to the federal government and put his money where his mouth is.
But this is the way liberals are, they claim they are looking out for the little guy, while living an entire different lifestyle. They think they are smarter than everyone else, so they try to control everyone else and believe more government and central planning will save society from its ills. By having a czar to figure out what people should be buying is something they enjoy, because this is part of what Obama care is about. The health system in the United States has a few problems, no doubt. But the answer to having health care operated by the government is something that is very confusing. Here are some stats that you can verify by doing your research on-line.
From a survey by the United Nations International Health Organization.
Percentage of men and women who survived a cancer five years after diagnosis:
U.S. 65%
England 46%
Canada 42%
Percentage of patients diagnosed with diabetes who received treatment within six months:
U.S. 93%
England 15%
Canada 43%
Percentage of seniors needing hip replacement who received it within six months:
U.S. 90%
England 15%
Canada 43%
Percentage referred to a medical specialist who see one within one month:
U.S. 77%
England 40%
Canada 43%
Number of MRI scanners (a prime diagnostic tool) per million people:
U.S. 71
England 14
Canada 18
Percentage of seniors (65+), with low income, who say they are in "excellent health":
U.S. 12%
England 2%
Canada 6%
So you see, having healthcare rationed by the government not only is not efficient, but the cost for healthcare goes up also. Free market capitalism is what has driven the healthcare industry to provide the highest quality of healthcare at a price as affordable as possible. Healthcare costs are getting out of control, but there are many things that can be done to fix the problem. One reason healthcare costs are so high, is that due to government intervention, hospitals charge the insurance companies for procedures that cover the expenses of other healthcare costs that are not reimbursed by the government programs that are meant to cover these costs.
Ok, so the socialist and liberals want to control the population and make decisions for people so that they can't make choices, lets see how the economic system really works. For anyone who is reading this, you can look up the data yourself by doing your own research, which anytime you talk to liberals about facts and data, they seem to get lost. I challenge you to see what the economy of countries that adapted free market capitalism have done in the last 25 years, and what the socialist governments have been able to provide for the people, and make the determination yourself. Compare Venezuela to India and see how this has made India since 1990 has adopted capitalism and a high GDP growth rate. Venezuela has experiences SOME GDP growth, but socialism had the country so poor, it only could move up. A more relevant challenge is the data with a comparison of the two systems - Capitalism Vs. Socialism.
If you honestly ask yourself, which economy would you rather live in, a capitalistic country or a socialistic country, you need to compare the differences and decide which one provides the higher standard of living. Would you rather live in North Korea or South Korea? The truth is capitalism is the ANSWER to solving the problems with the poor, while socialism only keeps more of the people poor, with a much lower standard of living. Want some stats?
Here we go...ready?
Looking at the Index of economic freedom in 2012, a collection of data that compares the top 25% of countries with economic freedom, and the bottom 25% of the countries of economic freedom. This index shows, via actual data from surveys of these countries wealth, and compiles the data in a FACTUAL set. This data is taken from a sample of 10 countries that are in the top 25% of economic freedom, to the 10 countries that are at the bottom 10 of economic freedom. Meaning...capitalism vs. socialism at the end game.
Per capita income of the top 25% of the countries with economic freedom is $36,691, while the bottom 25% of the countries in regards to economic freedom, the per capita income is $5,188. Guess which system I would rather live in? Look it up, kind of shows who is smart and who the idiots are doesn't it? Want to know what the poorest 10% of the income distribution is with regards to the economic freedom index? If you live in the top 25% of the economic free countries (think capitalism), the bottom 10% of the income is $11,382. The bottom 25% on the economic freedom scale (think socialism), is $1,209 annually. So where would you rather be poor at, a country that has a capitalistic system, or a socialism approach to living the good life?
The truth is, most liberals and want to be socialist want to complain about capitalism, without really understanding that they live in a system that promotes economic equality better than any other system. The poor people living in a capitalistic form of economic and political systems, live a much better lifestyle..because there is opportunity!
Now some of you hacks...and you know who you are, want to challenge me because you simply are bitter with life and don't understand economics. When you makes statements such as, there is only 1 cable company that I can buy may cable service from, and that is the greedy capitalist who are taking advantage of the people, I can only respond that you are so ignorant, I don't want to respond. Simply put, who says you have to buy cable? Can't you watch FREE TV over the airwaves? And that is the current problem with people that want to be socialist, in that they believe they have a RIGHT to everything! Everything is a right or entitlement to them, and not something that says you have a choice on what you want to do.
Weren't you born with a dream that God placed in your heart that you wanted to do? Then don't complain to me if you haven't achieved your goals, it isn't because you didn't have an opportunity, because you can't blame free market capitalism for this. Everyone has a dream to accomplish what their desires are...and it is obtainable to all those that pursue it. Go after those things that are "the desires of your heart", because God would not have given you those dreams if he didn't equip you to achieve this. At least you live a more satisfying life knowing you gave it a try, and you don't have to be a crusty jerk that is miserable so lets try and make as many others miserable by sharing socialism and the liberal way of thinking :)
