Buzzy is at the Table

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Tuesday, May 26, 2015. The proverbial fly on the wall, Buzzy, is at the breakfast table. He has been here and there throughout the nation and the view from above is not very encouraging. We are losing the war against ISIS while our president rails on about climate change. This period in our history will be recorded as the time that common sense died for good and the United States of America took a turn for the worse that proved to be irreversible. Buzzy has requested your presence at the breakfast table this morning. He has prepared a breakfast pizza topped with ham, eggs, chorizo and tomato. I will be providing the liquid refreshment. We hope to see you soon.

ISIS

Thank you all for joining me this morning. The U.S. Department of Defense has confirmed that weapons, including tanks, armored personnel carriers and artillery pieces fell into the hands of ISIS. Fleeing Iraqi troops abandoned the weapons as they fled Ramadi. The exact same scenario played out in the northern city of Mosul last June. We arm Iraqi troops who then run away and leave our weapons for ISIS. Exactly what has to transpire before President Obama realizes that his so called "strategy" is a prescription for failure? White House Press Secretary and Carney clone, Josh Earnest, says that President Obama has always been open to suggestions for improving his strategy. If flies could laugh, I would be hysterical right about now.

Climate is the Danger

Forget about ISIS. Forget about the fall of Ramadi. Don't worry about the expansion of ISIS into Syria, Yemen, Libya, Afghanistan and probably the United States. ISIS isn't the problem according to our esteemed leader. The real threat is climate change. ISIS is one of the most evil and despicable organizations in the world, but President Obama just doesn't see things that way. He believes they are the JV team. I have no doubt that ISIS is saying the same thing about us. Thus far, they are right. President Obama delivered a commencement speech at the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut. He told the graduates that they are on the front lines in the fight against climate change. He mentioned the real threats to our security only in passing, and impressed upon the graduates that combating climate change is their number one priority. He spoke about the science of climate change and declared it indisputable. He said that the planet is getting warmer. Many well respected scientists take great exception to that statement, but never mind what President Obama says goes. One such scientist is Dr. S. Fred Singer. Dr. Singer has said that although we are putting more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, there is no evidence that the CO2 is making a detectable difference. The issue of global warming, climate change or whatever it is being called now should be decided by scientists, not politicians. Clearly, President Obama would disagree. President Obama took things a bit farther by telling the graduates that denying climate change or refusing to deal with it is negligence and "dereliction of duty." Actually, I think Obama is guilty of dereliction of duty every single time he runs off in Air Force One to make unnecessary speeches while ISIS ravages the Middle East. If anyone wants to know about dereliction of duty they should speak to Bergdahl who has yet to face the music for deserting. President Obama believes that climate change is a serious threat to global security and an immediate threat to our national security. It seems to me that President Obama is the biggest threat to our national security. He certainly hasn't made the globe any safer. Through all this nonsensical rhetoric I keep wondering what the graduates are supposed to do to combat climate change. Who exactly is the enemy?

Buzzy's Song

Fly me to the moon

And let me live where I am free

Things are so insane right now

I think we're up a tree!
