Joe Biden is the U.S. Senator from Delaware.
Born on November 20th of 1942, Joe Biden started his life as a politician in 1970. he was elected to the Senate in 1972. He may be best known for his many interesting quotes and comments over the decades. Some of those will be featured below in the "Did you know" section.
Biden is a law graduate from Syracuse University and was a member of the U.S. Senate from 1972 until 2008, when he became the Vice President.

Joe Biden has a long history that is full of amazing events and even more interesting statements.
I want to make it clear that when I lay out some of his statements, that I am not making fun of him. He has had a lot of very serious events in his life that I believe have changed him. Many people do not know that in 1988, he entered the Presidential Election against then vice President George H.W. Bush. He dropped out of the race because he had two brain aneurysms. They were both operated on at different times and one almost took his life. He remained on the Senate however and ran for President again in 2008. He is talking about running again in 2016, and he will turn 74 shortly after the election.
He also lost his wife and daughter in a car accident. This had a terrible effect on him and he almost left public life. It was rumored that he turned to drinking and walking down the streets of Wilmington,Delaware looking for a fist fight. I can not confirm those but we can clearly see the effects of both the tragedy and the aneurysms.
Whether or not you like him we can see that he is very unique! For example, did you know that he skinny dips whens he swims? Yes, even if there are female secret service members in sight, he still does this at age 72. He has also said some unbelievable things that have put him in the media lime light.
He also has drawn great anger over his latest statement that he encouraged president Obama to go after Bin laden, when he clearly told the President that America should not pursue the 911 mastermind. Lying about a critical national security issue like 911 will not win anyone a fan base! Also, 2008 Biden stated that Obama was a clean and articulate black American. many people thought that he said this in surprise because he did not think that most black Americans are. That drew tremendous criticism and may have cost him the Democrat Nomination that year.
