Why Do You Hate Donald Trump?

Updated on July 10, 2018

Does "the 45" inspire you to hate?

Do you hate Donald J. Trump? If so, why?

  • Because he is a politician?
  • Because he is a man of strong will?
  • Because he is destroying the socialist and one-world agenda?
  • Because he's not a woman?
  • Because he doesn't fit into the political mold?
  • Because he's too rich?
  • Because he is too intelligent?
  • Because he is not intelligent enough?
  • Because his aura of power makes others feel insecure?
  • Because he does not allow others to control him?

The list of questions could go on for days. What one thing about Donald J. Trump inspires such malevolent hatred?

I am thoroughly intrigued as to why Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America, evokes such extreme emotions in people who claim to express free thinking. From the day that Trump mentioned he would campaign against Hillary Clinton to become the 45th President of the United States he has been reviled to the extreme. This is rather odd considering that every four or eight years a new president is elected. People don't typically revolt in such an unhinged manner without end, following an election .

This man inspires severe psychological and emotional responses from some of the richest and professedly most influential people in America, as well as those who have no influence. He is either consummately hated or endearingly loved. This is somewhat amusing and incites curiosity. What about this particular man provokes such violent hatred?

Donald J. Trump is a man. He wakes up every morning and puts his pants on one leg at a time just like any other man. He probably drinks a coffee or a tea to start his day. Most likely, he checks the stock market and takes a peek at the news. Maybe he walks on the treadmill to get his daily exercise in. He might kiss his wife and give his son a high-five before heading to the Oval Office. He is a father to adult children and one preteen; a grandfather to adolescents and toddlers.

Admittedly, Donald J. Trump is extremely confident and comes across somewhat arrogant at times. However, he is not the first nor last individual to ever possess those particular traits. Trump most assuredly is not a perfect human being. He has been divorced multiple times and according to some news agencies has had extramarital relationships. That is definitely a character flaw but not much different than the questionable morals of many newscasters, politicians, entertainers, educators, businessmen, world leaders, royals and humans in general around the globe.

Perhaps "the 45" does not always make the absolute, perfect decisions for America according to the standards of every single American. Yet, surely, neither were all perfect decisions made in regards to the good of the United States by Obama, G. Bush, Clinton, G.W. Bush, Reagan and the other 39 presidents before them. What Trump does well is maliciously debunked by major news agencies; what he does that is considered to be a failure is celebrated riotously by those same media outlets.

Donald J. Trump is hated to the depths of the souls of those who do not support him. What is it specifically about him that exposes the deep anger and depravity in those who disagree with his agenda? What is the justification for such vitriolic rage and abhorrence towards one single man with dyed, yellow hair? Why is such extreme ill will exhibited towards a 72 year old man by people who rave with compassion for, and show mercy towards criminals...criminals who've committed heinous crimes and harmed the very lives of constituents, customers, and consumers who support the psychotic roles those very people full of rancorous anger play in this macabre game of 2018 American politics? Why do you hate Donald J. Trump?

Not likely Brad. When faced with the truth anti Trumpers either ignore it, try to denigrate the messenger, change the subject or all of the above.

Thing is now that the deranged Trump haters know I’m on to their tactics and will call them out on it I suspect you won’t hear from them at all.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t blindly favor any candidate for president like mindless Crooked Hiliary zombies, I consider the platforms, policies and promises and vote for the one I believe will put America, it’s freedom and liberty and security first. On these categories Hiliary’s track record got a big F and Trump so far has exceeded my expectations. He’s not perfect and I don’t approve of everything he says although I can’t criticize him as a doer of what he says he will do however I can’t even entertain basing my approval of any politician on hatred, that’s just sick.

I think that you nailed the problem? It is like listening to a rebroadcast of the media. Most of the hate is derived to attack Trump personally, and has nothing to do with his performance as president. It would be refreshing if that was the case.

Yes, I agree with you. It would be interesting if some Anti Trumper could dispel your categorization.

You know Anna there is one more thing that instills hatred of Donald Trump in the hearts of the left. The ideas about America that he ran on, what got him elected (and it wasn’t Russia), aren’t just a politician using focus groups to see what voters want him to say. This video shows him saying the same things 35 years ago. The left can’t stand a man who is that real - they prefer a phony like Clinton or Obama, someone like that is someone they can relate to, someone cut from their own mold.

Anna, you have presented this question with very intelligent commentary that reflects discernment and the ability to reason with scrutiny. If only Trump haters possessed the same capability.

There are basically three classes of Trump haters.

First you have the swamp dwellers. These are the elitist, priveledged class. The establishment types on both sides of the aisle, the globalists, the Never Trumpers and political operatives. They are the people of privledge and powers in government (not necessarily elected) and the media who are in alignment with keeping the status quo and keeping their power and influence to deceive the public and the world. Trump, not being of them and calling them out for what they are and what they are doing and have been doing to the country while keeping campaign promises they abhor, is to them a poison that has to be stopped less they die or others in his mold, who are their own man and can’t be bought or threatened, appear to take up his mantle when he is gone.

Then there are the dopey dupes. People who are the target of fake news media, the Democrat party and blasted day in and day out with anything and everything they can put out and make up to paint Trump negatively even twisting his major accomplishments into something that is somehow not right.

These are people who have no clue or ability to reason the facts nor consider all sides of any issue but they have preconceived world views that have been indoctrinated in them by our education system, their societal preferences or misguided good intentions.

Then we have the final group. They are for no better term, the loony tunes, people that basically are unhappy with their lives or their circumstances and don’t won’t to take responsibility for their own decisions but just have to blame the rich, the 1%, the government that allows the 1% to exist, racism, sexism, homophones whatever thing they can possibly dream up to blame for their unhappiness and so who better to blame and hate than Donald Trump, a selfmade billionaire who is now the elected leader of the free world and changing America from what was becoming “the home of the freebies and the land of the knave” back to “the home of the free and the land of the brave”

Think for one moment, before Donald Trump ran for President no one ever called him a racist in 50 years of adult public life, no one (credibly) ever accused him of sexual misconduct, a traitor, being dictatorial - now they say he’s Hitler! These are the ravings of a tiny minority of deranged people which the media wants you to think is mainstream by giving it tons of attention while ignoring the truths. You know those who flail hatred uncontrollably at the mention of Trump spewing false accusations they have heard or read or just made up are mental cases, a product of whatever fantasy bubble they are living in.

I've had relatives who tell me they hate President Donald Trump. I ask why. Then they say the craziest things. Make ALL sorts of unproven, false allegations they can't prove. They get all emotional. I don't understand the emotion. I tell them yelling at me doesn't make you right, it just makes you ignorant. When I tell them all the good things he's done, they roll their eyes and sigh and don't hear what I'm saying. The one thing we do agree on is that the Ukraine is doing better under President Donald Trump. He is acknowledging the war and sending weapons. Obama did nothing. When Crimea was taken over by Russia, Obama responded after a golf game. So, I can understand not liking President Donald Trump. I don't understand the intense emotion. The absolute insanity of some liberals is disturbing. They don't care about good things happening in the United States.

You need comments? He is a traitor, He stands for tyranny and executes the russian playbook on how to destroy a democracy. You are watching the first attempt to bring a dictatorship to our country and you ask why? Try hypocrit, liar, decieverand anything that describes Satan or think Hitler in his early years. You need to wake up and face the truth.

Excellent addition on your part mentioning the GH Bush, GW Bush, Bill Clinton and Obama. I agree the establishment controls both parties, but not Trump.

Trump called it the Swamp, and we cleaned it up with Establishment:)

It would be interesting to hear what the non Trump people have to say. Although, they tend to stay safely in their own articles.

@bradmasterOCcal Great point! And I think a valid one. The one thing that makes both sides feel threatened is that he is diametrically opposed to the whole concept of "the establishment." A great supporting example of your theory is how all of the sudden we see both parties aligned against President Trump as exemplified in the sudden "deep loving relationships" between the Bush family, Clintons and the Obamas. They were all basically a part of the same establishment. Trump is not.

I have asked this question several times and in several articles, and lack of comments is the only result.

I think you might of missed the important factor why president Trump is hated. And that reason makes both parties hate him.

imho, That reason is that he is changing the government paradigm that has been hidden but always there. I call it the establishment, and rules of conduct for it. Meaning, that although both republicans and democrats have diametric goals for the countries, they still play by the same rules. Those are the rules defined by the unelected powers in the heart of the government. The agencies that populate the working mechanisms of our government. They are in power, although unelected power but still power. That power doesn't change when the political landscape changes, it is a core that is unaffected by outside change.

It is kind of like the old saying, "ask for forgiveness, rather than permission". They only have to ask for forgiveness, if they are caught. They rarely get caught. As we have seen from the congressional oversight of the FBI, CIA, and other agencies even congress can't get access to what is going on in government. Congress has a constitutional obligation to oversee the executive branch, but that branch tells congress they don't have the need to know what is going on in their world.

This is not the government workers themselves but their management. And the management chooses with political party to side with at any moment. They control the government, and override the congress.

This is this part of the government that president Trump has challenged, and they are pulling out all the stops to get him out of the way. If you believe in conspiracy theories, then JFK is a comparable story. Did he threaten this government, and that is why he and RFK were removed?

In any case, we see the activity of hate, but its source is not directly generated by the left. The left is being used to be the method of getting Trump out of the presidency.
