Why We Need To Put An End To The Monetary System Immediately

Updated on January 17, 2011

Money = Debt and Slavery

I don't know about you, but I've always hated money. Statistics reveal that the majority of our problems are caused because of money alone. Thanks to money, we are forced to deal with greed, corruption, debt, and many other issues. We all need money to live though, right? That's what the banks want us to believe, but you see, where there is money, there will inevitably be debt. We have debt because we have money.

Where does this money come from?

The Federal Reserve Bank creates our money, and then loans it out to other banks on interest. So, technically any money that is "created" needs to eventually be paid back to the banks plus interest. In actuality, there was never any money in the first place, and there also wasn't money within the system to cover the interest the banks require. The monetary system ensures that people will always be in debt because our money is created through debt. As if that wasn't bad enough, we also must deal with inflation because more money is always being "created", raising our debt, and devaluing the money that we already use.

To stop this from happening, President Andrew Jackson, shut down the Central Bank in 1835 that preceded the Federal Reserve. This was the last time that America was debt free. President Jackson said, "The bold efforts the present bank has made to control the Government... are but premonitions of the fate that awaits the American people should they be deluded into a perpetuation of this Institution, or the establishment of another like it."

Unfortunately, the Federal Reserve came into existence in 1913, and has ensured that perpetual debt continues to thrive. In this system, we will ALWAYS have debt, inflation, foreclosures, and people that can't pay off their debts. True wealth, as we have let it become, only belongs to the banks and not the people.

Money was created out of nothing, people, and we have let it become everything. 3% of our entire money supply is just some paper, while the rest is merely a bunch of numbers, to which only we give value. It ensures that we are constantly in debt, and are slaves to the system.

What is slavery?

Slavery: Bondage; the state of being under the control of something.

Slavery: Being entirely dominated by some influence or person.

Slavery: A social-economic system under which people are deprived of personal freedom.

We are all in debt, and what do people do when they are in debt? They submit to work for someone to pay off the debt that is owed. For the most part, we go to work for someone that we don't want to work for, and we do something that we probably don't want to do. Why? This is how the system was set up to operate. Is this not modern slavery? The wage slave is kept in line by this system, powering the empire that was set up. The debt that was created can never be paid off, and this is exactly how the system was set up.

Debt is being used to conquer and enslave nations.

More Problems Caused by Money

Many of us believe that we are a free people, but not only does money keep us from being free, it actually is the root cause of many of our daily problems. We know all about greed and corruption. Just think; if we had no monetary system, there would be no reason for people to steal, and to try to fight their way to the top of the pyramid. Over half of the whole world lives on less than $2 a day, while the greedy, corrupt people at the top of our financial system benefit from each and every one of us, and all of the bad things that happen thanks to this system. So many problems would instantly vanish if we ditched the system that has made us into modern day slaves.

Profit controls the motives of the people in our economy. Businesses are not concerned about your well being because that would be bad for business. Businesses are concerned about making a profit first and foremost. That is also the reason why we have products that do not last, and remain scarce. If we could get products that lasted and were readily available, this would also be bad for business. With a monetary system intact, businesses will never be concerned with ethics, morals, and the benefit of the consumer. If they did so, businesses would not last and the system would not work as it was designed.

War, crime, and poverty will always persist within this system as well. We tend to think these are things that simply happen because we fail to understand how this system was set up, and why it continues to operate. There is strong evidence suggesting that war, crime, and poverty are a direct result of the monetary system that we have in place, and would be greatly reduced if we became resource based, instead of monetary based. However, many people throughout the world have nothing right now. Many people are dying right now. People have been historically concerned about themselves, overall, and have not loved each other. This is sad, sick, and uncivilized.

Does money improve your life?

What is money? Money is nothing! It is a bunch of paper or numbers used to control the masses. Money can do nothing but enslave those who want it, while empowering those who have all of it. When we rid ourselves of this burden that we assume we need for everyday life, we take away the power that we alone have given to those at the top of the pyramid, we take away the scam, and we greatly reduce the consequences of this system that persist each day, and would otherwise continue to persist.

As long as we continue in the direction we are heading, we will also continue to see; crimes related to the monetary system (roughly 80%), greed, corruption, power and wealth consolidation, labor abuse, social stratification, a dictatorship based on wealth, as well as technological paralysis. These are the things that our current system provokes. If you are okay with these things, you don't need to do anything because they will continue in a monetary system. That's one thing you can count on. However, if you loathe these things such as I do, then do something about it.

It's time to wake up! We have let ourselves become burdened with this for far too long. Instead of wondering whether or not we have enough money to get something done, we could be gathering the necessary resources and technology to accomplish things; things from which our current system has held us back.

Below you will find a video, from which I have gathered the majority of my information. The video explains so much more, and much better than I can myself. Feel free to watch it and leave any comments you like. Being about 2 hours, the video is longer than most movies, so you may have to allow yourself adequate time to watch it, but it's definitely worth the time. Thanks for reading and commenting.

What They Said About Money

"The modern banking system manufactures money out of nothing. The process is perhaps the most astounding piece of sleight-of-hand that was ever invented. “Don't tell me where your priorities are. Show me where you spend your money and I'll tell you what they are.” - James W. Frick

I laugh every time they sell me this s##t life. We are modern day slaves trapped in a perpetual grid where we serve the bill collector. You could never live off the grid and not owe some greedy piece of s##t. Every time you save electricity the rates go up because they have to make a profit, they are f##king insane. I could paint a society in complete lies and denial it runs so deep in s##t. The slave masters who think they own you never paid for anything they never wanted to pay for, but made you pay for everything. In In a previous life you committed great sins and this is the place you must get it right before you go to hell, there is no other way to explain this life. The only thing that really matters is that you do not care, because they sure as hell do not and never be afraid to die. Only those who our going to hell fear death, because judgment awaits them. Like a clown in a bad circus the act stinks and they learn to late that they have judged themselves, leaving to many witnesses.

It really baffles me that when we are born we all come to this earth naked and helpless, needing support from our mothers to survive. But then we grow up and then start claiming all the natural resources of this earth as if it was our to own to start with. We even put price tags to these resources dictate who is eligible enough to have access to such resources...Who gave us that right? We even oppress other beings of this earth - including our very own kind - in efforts of personal gratification, status and class.

What the monetary system has accomplished so far is to deny us - as human beings - to enjoy and explore the beauty of this earth and also to explore what you and me are really capable of. I do believe, if given the chance and not limited by "money", we can reach our true creative potential that we were born with.

Currently, I am at a point in my life where I question all of this an ask myself: "Did I get born to work for the rest of my life - for someone or money?" and "Is this it?, Is this what LIFE is really all about?". But deep inside of me I know that this not true- I believe there is more to life than what is presented to us thus far.

The monetary system is enormous and complex, but it can and it will fall one day. I will do whatever I can in my capacity to stop fueling the system and join in the movement to stop this horrible discrimination to the human race.

Remember, we only need to work smartly and not hard against the masses - I strongly believe that a solution will come soon!

      Power to The Venus Project!

The monetary system had its place in history indeed... but ever since the great depression in 1929, its become obsolete.

Back then, production was WAY up due to mechanization - you had material goods and more than enough foods that's been produced to satisfy everyone's needs (food, clothing, shelter, water...), however, no one had the money to buy these things.

As a result, whole families shared rooms - just to name an example.

To top it all off, during WW2, US had only 600 airplanes and they couldn't wage a world war with those numbers.

So a question was asked: 'do we have enough money to turn those numbers into our favor?'

      The answer was: 'No'

      'Do we have enough resources?'

And then the US was able to churn out 90 000 airplanes per year.

This is a classic example of how the monetary system is holding us back.

Of course, I'm hardly advocating for waging wars... the example was to illustrate that money stopped equating 'resources' (if it ever did) for just over a century and that if we applied our world resources and technology we have today (let alone the one we had a century ago) for betterment of mankind, we CAN get rid of most of our problems.

I am appalled when people are concerning themselves with 'who will get the beach-house' when we have billions who need access to clean air, clean water, nutritious food, clothing, education and shelter.

Recycling technologies were available to us in since the late 19th century.

It was applied on an industrial scale for a small amount of time in the 1920's, but discontinued because of the monetary costs (resources and power were not an issue though - we wouldn't have run out of either one anytime soon at all - especially if there was a concentrated effort).

Cost effectiveness does NOT equate technological prowess (the best we can do from a technological point of view), quality or efficiency.

I am also amazed when people keep saying: 'we don't have the technology' - and yet, they themselves have no clue what we were capable of a century ago (let alone today).

First commercial geothermal power plant came into operation in 1911.

It's a source of CLEAN, efficient, renewable energy source (ironically enough its also cheaper and much more 'cost effective' than coal - in terms of money of course) - and tapping into mere 1% of all that power would provide us with enough energy for thousands of years.

Today's recycling technology is applied only 20% on a global scale - also, most of it is NOT being recycled (instead, its trashed regardless) and the items that ARE being recycled are done with inefficient methods (cost effectiveness) that do NOT represent the 'best' we can do.

      Its pathetic.

The Venus project definitely offers a step into a right direction.

And I will do what I can to push into that direction.

In the beginning of the system, money was backed by gold and silver, until paper promises surpassed the supply of gold and silver. This is when paper money began to be created from nothing which was basically in the 1930's.

Yes, NOW money is created from nothing but it wasn't always like that, perhaps a little more research and critical thinking and you would have realized this.

As it is now your article is very misleading!

very good very good, but i need to say the capitalism only encourage more the people to waste. A good system can save your money, but don't save the resources and the planet. We can't make durable resources in the monetary system, and the services are saying everything. The more countries moving to developed countries, there will be less supply, there will be more debt, more bankroupt.

The Nordic countries have a system equal to us but they are anot in debt, so you are saying now why they don't have debt... because the Management Interface is different, but don't save the resources and the planet, and they are making more polution with that good system, when the people say what we need is a good system, is a bullshit, good bad system, don't solve problems.

I am supporter of TVP, and what the people need is to understand, what they are saying, not ignoring, but yes trying to understand, this is a true a life of an true Filosopher.

however TVP was allways a solution... visit.

There are no advantages to money, it is only a word, really..., we are controlled by illusions, things that are unreal. Makes you feel real smart huh! I would do anything to make this change happen, once money is removed you will probably see the changes occur naturally.

I hope something like the Venus project comes into place in the near future. Money or the lack there of, creates more problems than they help solve. People don't need money as an incentive to work. We are not born with the concept of money.

I've got five words for you: best possible Star Trek society. I saw Star Trek First Contact today and there are a few nice lines in it: "The economics of the future are somewhat different, money does not exist in the 24th century. The accumulation of wealth no longer is the driving force in our lives". I think it could all start with the matter replicator, if we were suddenly able to create things out of "thin air" supply and demand would be meaningless, providing of course the replicators weren't controlled by the wrong people.

We are programmed that money is the only way and that it has to exsist from the time we are born...the only reason anyone wants money is so that they may gain the possesions that are offered to us by the media or to put a roof over our heads and pay our bills...Maybe we should all work together for the whole, for each other...contribute to society and all neccesities are provided for you.I.E. housing, food education, dental-medical, a vehical of choice...say everyone could have 10,000 credits a month to by toys with, if one works and contributes to society...those that dont can still have the nessecities provided but will miss out on the credits...this is due to some being spiritual and dont find an interest in materialism and the fact that that some are handicap, mentally ill or a senoir citizen, they will be cared for creates a seperation in classes and cause theft, violence, war, greed and slavery...its time to break from the illusion-dellusion and love each other and the whole.

This is a pretty good argument, but it's highly flawed. Money is an inanimate object, although it's the cause of most "evils" it is not evil in itself. The problem is the human condition, which through a series of poor upbringing, social pressure, experiences and the highly influential capitalistic system have shaped out minds into an "economic agent".

Read Sue Gerhardt's "The Selfish Society: How we all forgot to love one another and made money instead".

Interesting 1 sided argument with many flaws. If money wasn't the valuation of items, how would people trade? How do we value the cost of an item. Pure sharing? In the end, Greed is still a major flaw in humans. Let's remove money from the system, and run on pure products. Let rarity of product be the value. Gold is pretty expensive, so the ones that horde the most gold might be rich. Which, technically speaking, It's basically replacing cash with something else. Although money might be a bad thing, It has brought things to become standardized. What needs to be changed, is policies, rates, taxes. And of course, the paycheck.

Monetary system is the last line of slavery and will not go down with out a fight that will threaten the very fabric of civilized existance! The only way to impliment RBE would be through a total systemic failure of the monetary system but considering the ruling class controls more then one third of all wealth that would be nearly impossible without the aid of the other 99.9% of the population which would consider it suicide! Most of the people in the world are so brainwashed to the ideas of personal ownership and purchasing power that it just may take a taste of anarchy to consider a change from a chained conscienceness. When all else is unequal only those that are unequaled in their determination for a world free from tyranny and oppression can lead us out of kaos!

How did this all come down to be,

all the worlds hurting, with no air to breath.

we once had waters brimming with life,

now all we have is sea's full of strife.

wont the world be sad, when there's nothing but fear,

Wont the world be glad, once were not here!

      Msg. to the Western world

All anyone does is talk "lets stop these people from ruining our lives" though in reality they should actually be saying "why don't you people stop these people from ruining our lives" cause the person saying it has no intention of doing anything. In my opinion you people should be totally ashamed of yourselves if you want to change anything get off your arses get out into the limelight and speak out against the corporate tyranny that is oppressing the masses. this is the only way anything will change cause people don't react to talk only to actions. Though my guess is that anyone on here writing on these blogs are not people of action and i can't really blame you one bit cause in reality what can we the people really do against such power? As long as we have a monetary based economy we wont have any chance at changing anything but the problem is not enough of us see things as they are but as we have been led to believe by the corporate propaganda machine that we live in the best country, system and times. Too bad this is all an illusion and one that we gratefully aspire to with the wool of the matrix being pulled over our eyes and denying anything else that lives outside our comfort zone. If we didn't lose this comfort we would not have any clue there was anything at all wrong in our lives and soon those lives will spiral totally out of control. Such a shame that now these anoying symptoms show thereselves and there's nothing we can do to change the coarse our lives are on outside of preporation and seclusion for the coming collapse. I am truly sorry for telling you how it is though someone needs to. Give up on the futility of change

cause this coarse has been plotted for at least a century and since we are so close to arrival at our own destruction there is nothing that can be done to change this. We had our chances at change but decided our

materialistic and greed driven existance was too important to walk away from. You might want to consider thinking of these things when you can't feed your family or yourself and decide if all your little pleasures were worth it. I realize the condesending attitude i convey and apoligize for that and will pray that God grants us all a quick death before our suffering is our only thought. God help us to die as we have lived by that i mean if we lived life selflessly and were open and caring then our suffering should be minimal but if we were selfish our suffering should be no less then we inflicted on others. May God truly have mercy on us all and thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven! Amen ......

We have become totally dependent sheep - which I guess is the whole idea of the Federal Reserve. Then to prove we are stupid sheep - well let's deregulate banks (and every other industry in the US) - so it came to pass - and we still don't know why we are being robbed, overtaxed, and broke - but yet, we remain active consumers - of junk).

We are a nation proving what happens when you don't control your labor and money = recession, recession, depression, recession, depression and on and on.

I think this rough depression, and being able to communicate through the internet (and not depend on the mass media) may just help us open our eyes (just a little, because we have no choice).
