Top Tips to Become Happier

Updated on May 4, 2020

Do you wake up everyday with regret?

For the past few days, due to the situation in the world and even before that I met alot of people who made my day negative. I met people who complained about everything and very little people who smiled and walked around happily. I questioned myself to see where I belong, I analysed my days and I was shocked - I belonged to a category of mild depression. This dragged me down given the fact that am a sunny positive person.

i became aware of everything I do to make myself the depressed person I am, and I am in a process of overcoming it.

Here are my top tips- convert yourself to a happy person

1. Start your day with gratitude

Everyday just as you wake up, write down at least 3 things that you are grateful for:

"I am grateful I have beautiful clothes"

" I am grateful that I woke up today"

"I am grateful for the weather today"

It could be anything, simple or complicated. Start you day with gratitude

2. Start to Journal

Ever since I started maintaining a journal, I kept track of my habits and my moods and even my expenses. I started becoming a well organized person and I started having more goals than before. Grab a book right now and start to write down all your thoughts and emotions. Don't forget to include your goals and manage your expenses.

3. Yoga/meditate

The power of mindfulness helps you focus on one task at a time. It allows your body to relax and give a few moments away from all your thought. The truth is there is no fixed time to meditate but start your day with meditation at least for a few minutes and notice the change.

If you need help to meditate use mobile apps

My top two favorite : smiling mind and calm

Yoga helps your body wake up slowly. It allows a pure flow of blood to all parts of your body. It relaxes your soul and body allowing you to start your day better than ever.

4. Physical exercise

Keep your heart, lungs and muscles busy. This is a happy person habit. Everyone happy person is at least 20% more successful than the people who are not. Every successful person finds time in their daily schedule to exercise at least for 20 minutes.

What about you?
