Dear readers, we are going to talk about, (1) President Trump and Kim Jong Un confrontation, (2) some people opinions, (3) about the weather and global warming (4) Europe migrants and Italian problems.

In our previous article, we were talking about the USA President Trump and the North Korea President Kim Jong Un, where they were both at each other throat, as if they were going to go to war there and then.

Anyhow, everything seems to have slowed down, so, no war will happen. You see, the world has many problems that need to be solved, so, let the people solve the existing problems, instead of waging war and ruining the planet, with a nuclear war.

Anyhow, while the confrontation between North Korea and the USA is slowing down, another one is coming up. President Trump thinks that Iran is not strictly following the nuclear deal they had, so, he is thinking to terminate that deal, Politics in the world is a hard thing to follow, there is always something else.

Now, that is not all, because today the warlord Kim Jong Un of North Korea has warned Australia that if Australia continues to side with America there will be some nasty consequences, what his intentions are, it is not clear, but it is a warning.

Strange as this may seem, today the 17 of October 2017, on the internet there is the dictator of North Korea, Kim Jung Un photo, and this article that say; War can break out at any moment, this article is talking about nuclear war and goes on to say that it is America that is threatening North Korea, when as we know it is the North Korean programs of building atomic bombs that has pushed America to intervene, hoping that they understand that the world does not need more atomic bombs built. In fact, I believe that all atomic bombs are a dander to all humanity, so, they must stop making them, and then find a way how to neutralize them, which can be hard to do.

Anyhow, I know that this is not the last time that these issues are coming up, as it is going to drag on for a long time, and we will continue to follow them.

Today is the 28 February 2019, I am editing this article, most of the disagreements between USA President Trump and North Korea president Kim Jong Un, have been resolved, so, they are having a meeting in South Korea, that is good news.

Now let us look at other world problems that need to be solved, we need to write a priority list, to see which are more urgent, perhaps we should follow the mainstream and see what people think about this idea.

Some people ask what sort of problems need to be solved first? Our answer to that is whichever problem comes up by itself. For instance, in America, apart from this disagreement with North Korea and Iran; then the hurricanes that have damaged so much and the coast that goes with it; then there is the mass-murder that has happened in Las Vegas. We believe that they should do something, like ban the most dangerous firearms, at least that would be the right thing to do, but knowing that the Americans love firearms, it is doubtful that anything will be done. So, we must wait and see what happens; there have been many mass-murders in America this year already, so, there is a small chance that they will talk about it at least.

Another worldwide problem is the increase in temperature, which is believed to be caused from burning fossil fuel, at least this is what the experts tell us. So, there is reason to believe that if less fuel is used, then the global warming effect may be halted, but here again there is not much done from anyone. So, we are going to follow the weather for a few weeks and then tell you what we see is happening.

But as we know, things that need to be done and politics are strange; you see, while we are talking about cutting down burning fossil fuel, to help the planet cope with climatic warming, a few days ago, the former prime minister of Australia, Tony Abbot in a speech in Europe said that climatic warming is not that important to control, and then he said that even if the planet temperature goes up, it does not matter much, because there are more people dying from the cold that those that die from hot temperature. I was thinking to myself; he must be going crazy.

But that is not all, because, a few days ago, the present prime minister of Australia, Malcom Turnbull proposed some changes that would let Australia use more fossil fuel to produce electricity, because we need to keep the price of electricity down, so, we are going to have a more relaxed control. This means that we don’t care about the climatic warming. This is a controversial way of doing things, but it looks like that the priority is about cheap energy. Anyhow, we are going to see what happens next. And now let us talk about the weather.

Because of the global warming, we believe that the weather is more violent and unpredictable these days, to prove our point, we are going to collect some data about the weather, just to have our own record.

Now, because is that time of the year, when hurricanes and other violent storms affects the Northern hemisphere more than the South hemisphere, let us look at what is happening and name a few of the most violent hurricanes, Harvey, Irma and Maria have made so much damage that could cost 188 billion of dollars, now in mid-October there is Hurricane Ophelia, which is the 10th hurricane of the Atlantic season, Ophelia now is spinning towards Ireland on Sunday 14 October. The National Hurricane Centre in Miami said that Ophelia had slowed down, but it was still dangerous with winds of up to 90 miles an hour. They warned that a storm surge with large and destructive waves was going to hit the Ireland coast.

A couple of days’ have gone by, now, Hurricane Ophelia after damaging Ireland, Scotland and northern England, has been downgraded and heading in the north Atlantic Ocean towards Norway. To me this seems that it is so far north this time and I wonder why. So, here again, one wants to ask, is it the global warming that is causing these Hurricanes and storms, more often and stronger than ever?

Now, let us leave behind this northern hemisphere weather behaviour, because we want to look at what is happening here in Australia. I believe that the weather this year is very strange, you see, suddenly in early October in Brisbane we have had several days with temperature over 30 degrees, which is too hot for this time of the year. Then almost suddenly now the temperature is in the low twenties, which almost makes no sense, it has also been raining for a week. When we see, these things happening this way, for sure we worry about climatic change.

But then again, we cannot do much unless the politicians come up with a solution, so, we should wait and see, what is going to happen next. I believe that we have said enough about this subject in this article, and it is time to look at something else. Like Europe, the Italian politics, the refugees and their problems.

Now, let us look at Europe problems, the Italian problems and refugees.

In Europe, there are many problems, because of the terrorist threat and the refugees, but lately another one has arrived on the scene, Catalonia a region of Spain wants to declare independence and become an independent state. Now, the central government of Madrid doesn’t want this to happen, and it’s going to do whatever it takes to stop it happening.

My question here is; is the world of politics gone man? Why they want to completely become independent? When it could have been enough to ask for more autonomy? You see, today they are trying to have a united Europe, which can give guidance to all European states, So, why try to divide, when the rest want to unite? I suppose we must wait and see, what is going to happen next.

Now, let us leave Spain and talk about Italy. Today the Italian politics seem to be even worse than before; in fact, when we listen to the news, they are so bad that a lot of times it is hard to understand what they are talking about. You see, whoever is talking thinks that they are right and everybody else is wrong, so, they are mud slinking all the time, they attack each other and never seem to get anywhere. I know that most time this is how democratic parliament work and we believe that soon or later they will reach some agreement. But any agreements that we are waiting for, may never come.

And by the way, in Italy too some regions want independence from the central government, but at least here they are going to ask for more autonomy, which is not as extreme as being completely independent.

One of the reasons why some regions want more autonomy, is the refugee’s problem, where some regions don’t like how the central government is handling that, because they want to have a say for themselves. As we know this is a long story that needs to be solved, but it will take a long time to solve it. We could say a lot more about this issue, but this article is becoming too long, so, I hope to come back to it in our next article.
