When I was much younger whenever anyone asked me if I considered myself Conservative, Liberal or Moderate, although I agreed in being responsible faithful and so forth, I refused to call myself a Conservative. After all, if you said you were a Conservative that was like saying you believed that all women should stay in the kitchen bare-foot and pregnant, that Blacks should go back to the cotton fields, and so forth but if you said you were Liberal that meant you believed in equality, peace and love.

The picture that has been painted on the minds of some Americans, such as the youth who have not learned how to think for themselves and ask the hard questions of their professors, is that on the Left is Liberalism (or what is now call Progress-ism) which stands for what is good about America such as equality, justice, peace and love and on the Right is Conservatism which is equated with the K.K.K., Nazis and other hate groups. This leads, unfortunately, to an unfair lumping together with various hate groups such as the K.K.K. and the Nazis those who call themselves Conservatives.

Also, do you believe that there has never been any bigotry on the Left or who are called Progressives? Think again!

But is that the truth? If you consult the historic documents you will discover that the ideals such as Equal Justice, Individual Freedom and being the best you can be, which are the beliefs of Conservatism,, use to be equated with Classical Liberalism. Also, do you believe that there has never been any bigotry on the Left or who are called Progressives? Think again! In the final part of this articles I will give some examples

Don't believe me? Well, you are about to be stunned! Below are some infamous statements that most people would never guess correctly who said what but before I go on I need to make a quick announcement.

Please note: For anyone who is in the habit of taking things out of context and making people look like they are saying things that they are not really saying, the following statements are NOT mine. I am simply pointing out what others have said as examples of what this article is about. Going out of ones way to be offended by purposely taking things out of context and accusing a writer of making racists comments is disingenuous and shameful!!

One very famous person made the following statement: "Yid, Wily Ephraim, Izzy and the Jewish N_____. It is now quite plain to me as the shape of his head, the way his hair grows also testify that he is descended to the Negroes who accompanied Moses' flight from Egypt. Unless his mother or paternal grandmother interbred with a N_____." You may think, for example, that it was the Imperial Wizard of the K.K.K., David Duke or the Late Former President of the U.S., Ronald Reagan but you would be wrong. Actually it was the Founder of Marxist Communism, Karl Marx.

OK, here's another example: "Human weeds, reckless breeders' spawning human beings who never should have been born---For the purpose of the racial purification couples should be rewarded who chose sterilization" and " We do not want to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members." Surely that most be something that the Late Rev. Jerry Falwell would have said or President Donald Trump. Right? Wrong!! It was the Founder of Planned Parenthood, Margret Sanger. By the way, she was also an Anti-Semite who was admired by Adolf Hitler and whose philosophy of eugenics was one of the factors that inspired the Final Solution of the "Jewish Problem" in other words, the Holocaust.

What is the lesson of this article? People are more than one-sided. Don't assume based on one demographic factor that you know how they think. Ask questions. Also, don't believe everything you hear on the news. People can be made to look bad, for example, a politician can be made to look like he or she said something absolutely outrageous by editing a clip of a speech that was said, but if you do some research and find the original clip it's a different story all together. So PLEASE do not let anyone make you into an USEFUL IDIOT. You have a brain- USE IT!!!
