Yes, we have lost 800 years of developing common law in an instant. We are back in the dark ages. History was made months ago when the US President ordered the assassination of an educated US citizen from New Mexico without due process of law. Sure, the guy may or may not have been an Al Qaeda leader. He should have been brought to justice, charges read, and served his day in court. Sure, cops kill people all the time who fight them and resist arrest. But in this case, there was to be no arrest. The order was deliberate assassination. Where does the line get drawn?
