One need not travel further than reading the Yellowbear decision or accept his notion that a judge must sometimes dislike his decisions to find honor here. We all want our nation to feel our passion and compassion. It takes a great legal mind to put that aside and apply law instead of politics or a desire to do your own brand of good. "Brilliance is the ability to apply justice, not as you would have it be, but as our laws require it to be". He has the ability to balance good of man against good of state, with a full moral compass.
