Daniel Evan Tuller

Updated on January 19, 2015

A Memorial & Tribute

For anyone who knew Danny, Dan, Danny-boy, Sparky or by what ever name he answered to, you know that he loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed whatever he put his mind to and lived in the moment.

The youngest of seven children, our little charmer and clown touched the hearts of everyone he knew.

This is a tribute to a wonderful son, brother, daddy and friend. He has found the peace he longed for now in His Savior's arms.

We love you so much Danny. Praise God, your heart beats on!

Favorite Verse

When Danny was in 7th grade he had to memorize passages of scripture and journal his lessons in Bible class.

He would try to find the shortest verses to memorize so he could go back to his music, in which at times he would practice up to eight to ten hours a day.His favorite verse at that time would be typical of any young boy...

"Jesus wept."

John 11:35 (NKJ)

Danny called brother-in-law Jim, "Honey" until he was about 6 years old. He thought it was his name.

When Danny was a toddler he drown in Lake Garrison.

His brother Jimmy rescued him from the bottom of the lake.

Young Jimmy brought him to "Honey" who brought him back to life through CPR.

How did Danny get the nickname "Sparky?"

In his teens Dan got his nickname "Sparky", after being electrocuted on a McDonald's roof while replacing a fluorescent tube.

Dan's famous orange stuffed turkey was a favorite among his loved ones.

What he lived to do ...

Danny graduated from Arthur P. Schalick High School in Pittsgrove, Twsp., New Jersey and pursued many things along the way.

He shared wonderful times with family and friends, especially if it meant dressing up in comical costumes (something he inherited from his father).Dan adored Dayna, Gabby and his son Ethan.

There were several things that he found pleasure in such as outdoor activities like skiing, fishing, boating, swimming and BBQing...

But everyone knew that, after his family, Danny's first love was always his music.

I Will Sing

There are times in life that the pain is so great that words escape us. That was the situation when I was to sing at a friend's funeral. When the words would not come out, we played this song.I Will Sing has been a blessing to thousands who have experienced the trials and tribulation this world has to offer. May you find peace and hope in it.

Life is but a vapor...

Last night I was reading my Faith Moments Devotional for the week of April 15th when I noticed something that made me feel uneasy. I wrote this article and first published it in 2003. It was republished 2 months ago. The devotional talks about how every one has an appointed time and we don't know when that is.It is no coincidence that the day of Danny's home going was on 4/14.

It just proves how true the Word of God is. Let me explain.

For the past few years Danny struggled with his relationship with God after his mother went home to Jesus. But he still reminded a friend of his that "God is real" despite what he was experiencing in his heart.

What happened to Danny was a tragic accident. Only God knows whether or not we will take our next breath, and that is why we have to make sure we are right with Him. If Danny were here he would plead with you to get right with God while there is still time.

"Whereas you know not what shall be tomorrow. For what is your life?
It is even a vapor, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away." James 4:14 (KJV)

In Hebrew

Daniel – means God is my judge

Evan - means God is God

His Son:

Ethan in Hebrew means strong and stedfast

Danny was an organ donor.

We are thankful for his giving "heart" literally that saved a child's life.

What will be your legacy?

Life has a way of taking us on different roads as we journey. God is the only one who knows how it will turn out. Even though we do not know how long we have here on earth, we do have a say in how that life is lived. The old saying is true, "If you live like there's no God, you better be right." But friend, there is a God, and He loves you.

Maybe Danny didn't say this before, but if he could, he would tell you to make Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life right now. Danny wasn't planning to leave this earth when he did, but it happened anyway. How would you describe his legacy? I'm sure it is different for all of us.

We all mess up, and that's why we need to be forgiven of our sins. God loves you and will forgive you of all your sins if you confess them to Him. He is the one who remains faithful, even when we don't stay faithful to Him.

How many times will you say no to Jesus? If you continue to reject Him, there will be a final no...and then it will be too late.

I dedicate this to you Dayna & my family. - May God heal your hurting heart.

Danny's with mom now, and in the arms of Jesus.

They both say, "Welcome home my son."

It's not to late to know Jesus as Savior like Danny did?

All you have to do is pray this prayer.

Dear Jesus,

I know that I have messed up in my life. But Your Word says that if I ask you to forgive me, You will. So I am asking You Jesus, please forgive me of all my sins and make me clean. I want to live for You and know what it's like to be forgiven.

I believe You are the Son of God and will seek Your will for my life. Thank You for dying on the cross to save me. In Your name I pray Jesus, Amen.

If you just received Jesus into you heart by praying this prayer please let us know.
