Multinational corporations do extensive business more than one country.For example, Union carbide in 1984 operated in 37 "host countries" in addition to its "home country",the U.S. Generally multinationals establish foreign subsidaries such as Union carbide of India,retaining 51% of the stock and allowing investors of the host country to own the remainder, but some countries restrict the parent company in U.S. to 49% ownership.on december 3,1984,the operators of union Carbide's plant in Bhopal ,India, become alarmed by leak and overheating .
