Should Somalian Pirates be shot on sight to release prisoners held captive?

(Not killed, but shooting to disarm)

I would say shot on sight is a little harsh. Wait until they are IN the sight, then blow their heads off (yes I mean kill). Shoot to disarm? So we can bring them back here and put them on trial? Yeah that's a great idea. The government isn't wasting enough of my tax dollars on these despicable wastes of life. They're just now starting the trial for the 911 "suspects".

Being in Somalia for sometime, I can tell you they have no respect for human rights or even respect for human lives. Even If you get them to court( which is a waste of time and effort) some liberal judge will give the a green card to stay in the U.S. If you shoot to disarm, They get well and you will see the same guy robbing and looting ships again. We need to send a clear message. If you attack an unarmed vessel you will pay the price. If they are not killed by us they will be killed by the warlord in charge. You can not negotiate with these people.
