Considering the plight of tuna as an endangered species, should we be eating it out of an easy can?
Canned tuna is a staple almost everywhere. We may not buy or fish for fresh tuna, but canned tuna exists on every grocery shelf in the US and maybe every grocery shelf around the world. What's your thought about this easy availability versus the plight of the tuna?
Six and one half dozen... we can't put an absolute ban on tuna fishing, that is not going to work - it's a plentiful source of food that just about everyone eats across the globe. Having responsible fishing policies is the only solution.
