Do you honestly think Donald Trump would make an effective president?

Pretty straight forward, assume he can win the general election and assume office. Do you think he'd actually do a good job once in the White House? As in: being effective at executing his policy initiatives.

    Two points:
    1) How do you reconcile the statement that he is the epitome of successful while acknowledging that he has bounced back and forth from near bankruptcy for the last 20 years, including bankrupting a casino.
    2) You say he is effective through negotiations which implies a willingness to cede ground for the greater good. Do you think a president Trump would be able to negotiate in those terms with a radicalized Republican base and Congress? Would be hard to execute policy if by negotiating to enact said policy you lose the votes of your base for negotiating in the first place.

No.  He is big business and a money maker.  We need someone who can do more than that.

if the U.S. votes in trump for president i will give up on it as a country. why would anyone want that guy to lead them, he's a moron to say the least. just because he is rich, doesn't mean he is a good leader, in fact, it means he will look out for the wealthy more then anyone else. haven't people noticed how the wealthy are killing your country?

No way, No how.  He would push us off a cliff.  Business people make terrible politicians.
