Well, we have all witnessed a failure of our beloved Justice System via poor prosecution. My only hope is that we can all laugh when she has to resort to exotic dancing to pay the restitution for lying to investigators that we all secretly hope gets imposed. At least the burden is off of the tax-payers back. Every cloud has a tiny silver lining.

Any murder charge would have been better than what she got.  While me and my husband was watching this case in the past week I had predicted that she would walk right out of it and be walking the streets within 30 days.  OMG!  I was not surprised with the verdict, but I was disappointed.  She has no accountability whatsoever with the death of this child, her child, her own flesh and blood.

My question is this:  If you are going to find her guilty of lying to the police for over a month, why don't you question her reasoning for all of the lies?  People don't lie to this extent unless they are covering something up.  What is she covering up?  What was her involvment?  I mean, come on, what mother do you know who could have a child missing for just a few hours and not be going frantic with worry and grief?  I'm just sayin....  So, if you ask yourself these questions you will probably conclude that justice did not occur in this case.

i totally agree wit you serenity4me, that was injustice in it's highest order. How cld there be nothing to charge her at all, how cld it be? Not reporting the death should even warrant some sentences. Now what i do not know is if the investigation of the murder will still continue as the killer is "presumeable" not found yet.
My daughter was 2 at time this happened, each time i see caylee anthony pix/video and look at my gurl, i cannot control my emotion. I think she need to take some kind of responsibilties for her action or ommission.
Thanks Jonesy0311 for responding, i don't think they will impose any monetary charge on her.
