What's your opinion on the Casey Anthony case?
My opinion is that she should've been AT LEAST been charged with 2nd degree murder.
Good Point! Me and my brother were just discussing that very thought last night. By offering the choice to convict her of "Criminally Negligent Homicide"(which we THINK is second-degree murder), she could have at least got 20 years. Whether she fed her kid one too many Xanax or committed premeditated murder - it's clear that she certainly had something to do with her daughters death and obviously didn't care ONE BIT about her daughter's life. It is a travesty of justice that someone who showed zero: love, compassion or regard for her child's life got to walk away scot free. At least the enactment of new laws that require a parent to report their missing children within a given time period will make it far more difficult for child-killers to leave a "cold trail", making it easier for them to destroy the evidence of what they have done!
