How do you feel about politicians' inability to come up with a solution for the economic crisis?

Given the current economical climate and the world crisis how do you feel about politicians' inability in this matter? Are they making any sense? Why or why not? And what is the alternative? What can we do?

I feel frustrated--there are rational approaches to the problem, but partisan politics and blind ideology are getting in the way.

What can we do?  Attempt to discern the truth for ourselves, weighing the available information.  And then communicate that to our elected representatives, as clearly and forcefully as we can.  And vote, of course.

Also, we can share our thoughts with family, friends, co-workers and so on--not forgetting to listen to what they might have to say.  We may not agree with them always, but it's actually more interesting, if less ego-boosting, to listen to what they say.  And there's always the chance of learning something new, or unlearn something incorrect.

    Cycle, and repeat as necessary.

Excellent question! By now, every presidential candidate knows that the performance of the economy in the third quarter of an election year is a powerful predictor of that election, especially for incumbents.

Obama's overall economic strategy has been to delay the inevitable recovery for as long as possible, so that the wallet-voters will notice a significant improvement in that critical third quarter of 2012. On the one hand, he's trying to project a Care Bear image, with various economic stimuli. To a lesser extent, he's deliberately sabotaging the economy, by pandering to environmental extremists. Two examples.

Green Jobs. There's one economic study claiming that in Spain, a similar program killed two real jobs for every Green Job that it created. Of course, Barry is aware of this.

A smaller example is his administration's killing of the proposed Keystone XL pipeline project. Getting a bit more of our oil directly from Alberta will create a few thousand construction jobs in the short term, and will push down petrol prices slightly in the long term.

Barry is every bit as cynical as his predecessor.

The only thing politicians could do to help the economy is to get out of the way. Government has little ability to improve it. Unfortunately, doing that would involve several things politicians are congenitally incapable of doing: admitting they can do nothing effective; giving up authority, power and control of wealth; empowering the people as opposed to themselves; abandoning all hope of remaining in office for life. Fat chance.

They are part of the problem so why do you think it will be fixed. We need to do an "End Run" and clip the politicians wings.

    There factors that contribute to politician's inability to solve economic crisis;

    1. Politicians are but a human like anyone of us, they are not super heroes. Maybe they cannot even solve problems in their family.

    2. Economic problem is extensive, it is worldwide

    3. Disasters destroys properties, it destroys the productivity of the land.

    4. Rebellious people exist everywhere. Greed is popular, the poor become poorer and the rich becomes richer

    5. Millions of money are spend in wars that being given to the poor

For more than 6,000 years of human existence, politicians come and go but no one ever solve this problem.

Therefore, the real solution for economic crisis don't depend on human efforts but as what we are praying everyday, "Let your kingdom come"

    What can we do?

The answer is, ride it out.

    It is just that simple.

The politicians' TALK about coming up with solutions to the current economic problems is simply that -- TALK.
