Should recycling be made compulsory in the manufacturing industry?
Recycling should become mandatory in EVERY industry. We are rapidly depleting the earth's natural resources; and, polluting what we can't destroy. If we don't clean up our act - literally and figuratively - there will soon be nothing left to clean up. It's time we became one with our environment so both people and the environment will prosper.
Why? It's not true we're running out of resources. We're swimming in them. Let recycling be determined by market balance. When, if ever, we need the materials in landfills, we'll mine them. Until then forcing the issue is economically insane.
