Who is regarded as Father of Political science?
Aristotle, Plato, Montesquieu, Hobbes or Machiavelli ?
Just came across this question in a competitive exam and couldn't answer this. Searched in web but didn't get the right answer.
There is no answer. Karl Marx is often believed to be the father of "social science" what ever that is. Freud up ended the hole theory of human relations sciences...Politics goes back as far as you can go and find a family or a tribe. As for real science It only sort of existed before Sir Isaac Newton. There were some sciences before that of course but nothing as rigorous. Mathematics was in full bloom long before science gained any accuracy in most fields. There always was scientific method. Win makers learned to do what they needed to do to get great results over and over again so there had to be some science involved. Aristotle got a few things right and lots of them wrong.
