Are we conscious regarding how we ourselves are deteriorating our planet?
I'm sure everyone must be aware, but many don't care. Humans have always impacted the environment more than any other species. We've done this both collectively and individually. It's impossible not to affect the world around you in some adverse way, and more so than in previous generations, because we need a vast assortment of things to live in the modern world. We create far too much waste and there are just too many of us now for the biosphere to cope. Ordinary people can do their bit to 'reduce, reuse and recycle' but it's the big companies and governments that have the power to change things for the better and make a real difference so that the environment is preserved for all living things.

Can an innocent generation suffer for the sins of a previous generation?I wonder if this explains – why bad things happen to good people.
