What if instead of White Collar Criminals spending time in jail: The Judge might do this: For instance; let`s say a White Collar Criminal; who has not murdered, raped; and or committed pedophilia instead is given an ongoing fine. For instance; let`s say the white Collar Criminal is sentenced to 7 years in jail. Instead of that; what if for 7 years; they would pay out of their income; let`s say the white collar criminal is charged enough; that they only make: $20,000 to $30,000 a year. And all their extra money would go to Charities and The Community. And let`s say this; if they tried to cheat this sentence: If originally they had to spend 7 years in jail; it would double or triple. So, a white collar criminal who tried to cheat this ongoing fine; would have to spend 14 to 21 years in jail. And let`s say The Judge appointed an honest accountant; or accounting firm. And if the white collar criminal tried to get the accounting firm or accountant to cheat; the white collar criminal would be reported to the judge. And the judge; well; the suggestion is at least double; but The Judge could decide.
I am not in charge and this is only suggestion.
Interesting idea. However, it seems likely this would just encourage the criminal to commit more white-collar crimes in order to pay the fines. This is what happens with low-level drug dealers and such. Fine them, give them felonies so it's very difficult to have gainful employment, and then they sell more drugs to pay the fines. Then you catch them again, maybe send them to prison and put more fines on them. Either way, society pays the costs in a variety of ways. Having said this, no, I don't have the answer to preventing white-collar crime.

I'll pick up on this thread where I left off in the last, but on a new topic. The last one was about a flaw in Christian theology, namely, the impossible definition of God. This one is about protective coloring in the Christian mentality; a smokescreen; the corrupt use of misdirection,...
