Oregonians know how to do a lockdown. ;-)
What is your state doing to ease the pain?
That's funny! Saw a local ad from a plumber the other day, commenting that his business was open - that the "comfort businesses" had been deemed essential and were exempt from closing. While I understood his meaning, the way he put it got a giggle. Are we going to see "ladies of the evening" making housecalls now, as an "essential comfort service"?
Idaho isn't doing much. Pushing social separation hard, closing schools and most state offices, including the DMV - better not buy a car because you can't get it titled or licensed. The offices are still working, but the public isn't allowed in. They're talking more severe actions, but likely won't take them until the count grows as we're still at the bottom end there. My son, federal govt. employee, is working from home, while another in a tire shop goes to work every day. My grandson works at WalMart and goes to work, and so do others in the fast food industry.
We have toilet paper on the shelves again.
I saw a report that strippers in Portland are making house calls, but obeying the proper social distancing guidelines, of course.
Now how the hell does that work? Extension poles and grippers?
I volunteer you to be the first one to find out, Gus. Do it for your country! What a sacrifice you can make for the rest of us...
I don't know but I like Randy's idea. We shall await your report. ;-)
LOL Actually I DID see where strippers were delivering fast food (pizza, I think). Not positive it was true, though.
Looks like a good idea to me. Too bad I am out of their delivery range.

There are several countries that have declared a national lockdown, like Italy, Spain and Germany.Today, Puerto Rico governor declared a total lockdown and curfew, even though there're only 5 confirmed cases, but most of us approved and appreciated it. Schools were closed already, now I'm so glad...

I was just wondering if the blanket lockdown around the world, and in the USA mainly as Hubpages is set there, will affect us on here? Will it carry on, get paid at the same time, and so on? I hope so but totally understand if you do have problems.

In this unprecedented time when nations such as the United Kingdom and the U.S.A. are in complete Lockdown, are we in danger of allowing the solution or mitigation of this Covid-19 virus to do more harm than good?
