Donald Trump's true intent for America was to increase Prosperity for all. Everything he did was toward this end.

The wall, to protect us from disease, terrorism, illegal entry and all that implies, such as unjust access to jobs and funds needed by actual citizens.

American oil, to allow us to be financially independent and to remove our involvement in the wars of the Middle East.

The ban on Muslims, to prevent terrorists and others who would flock in with foreign beliefs and ways.

The list is long and it all points to allowing safety/peace and individual liberty which are the main ingredients toward ...

This topic of discussion is about whether or not self-generated income is preferable to government-provided income for both the individual and society at large.

Trump's intent was OK but his method of approach was wrong because he seemed to be pandering to a particular group of people. The wall for example which he was trying to build was not going to be of any use after all the great wall of China failed. It was a waste of money. Similarly, his ban on Muslims from five countries was irrelevant because no terrorist came from those countries and the terrorist came from Saudi Arabia where he didn't put any ban.If he had to put a ban, it had to be for all Muslims and that courage he didn't have. Similarly, he failed to bite the bullet with Kim Jong and the net result of his meetings is a big zero.  His retreat from us Afghanistan was ill-conceived and in fact lowered American prestige all over the world. In short, he had fine dreams but his implementation was poor and he paid the price by sitting in his home now and I don't think he's going to get a chance in 2024.

Pandering to one particular group of people was in your perception and it was a wrong one.

The wall was helping big time and therefore, not a waste of money.

The Muslim ban helped a lot and we had to maintain relations with Saudi Arabia, oh well.

      Kim has kept quiet.

      Afganistan is not our concern.

Our prestige is greatly revered all over the world.

He is sitting at home because he left office to avoid confronting a very evil force.

Somewhere, somehow he and others will help us to confront it.

We must avoid becoming tax slaves, to start with.
