With the update in the language and new terms emerging to showcase new technology, will there someday be one concise term to showcase the mega nationals - the oligopoly power of a corporation?  Here in the US, we often refer to the Fortune 100 or Fortune 50 - but this is US based started by Fortune magazine.

For those that dominate an industry - big oil and big chocolate has been associated with the companies that rule that industry.

What is the best term to describe global corporate giants that affect everyone on the planet we call earth?

Is Starbucks a mega global giant yet?  Why or why not?

Wordsmiths, fellow Hubbers - I need your help!

The word you are looking for is: "Microsofted"

      Used in a sentence...

"Boy, Heinz really Microsofted the condiments industry, didn't they?"
