Emails! I get emails!
Subject: NBA OR NFL?
Even if you aren't a Sports Fan this is Very Interesting!
36 have been accused of spousal abuse
7 have been arrested for fraud
19 have been accused of writing bad checks
117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses
3 have done time for assault
71, I repeat 71
cannot get a credit card due to bad credit
14 have been arrested on drug-related charges
8 have been arrested! for shoplifting
21currently are defendants in lawsuits,
84have been arrested for drunk driving
in the last year !
Can you guess which organization this is?
Is it the NBA Or NFL?
Give up yet?
it's the 535 members of the
United States Congress
The same group of Idiots that crank out hundreds of new
laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.
Your government at work, kind of makes you proud, huh? Steaming mad
You gotta pass this one on!
As much as I was expecting that, I still think it would be a bad idea to replace congress with either the NBA or NFL. But I do think the criminals in congress (instead of having elections that are fixed anyway) should engage in steel cage death matches. I think murdering one's opponent in cold blood, gladiator style, would really prepare one for the goings on in our gov't.

I think we should. If it's one job that a mandatory background check should be required for, it's that of a public official. Why? Representation of the citizens is a sacred trust and that trust has...
