Help Save Wildlife With Your Purchase

Updated on March 28, 2015

I love all animals, domestic & wild. I have studied many species and find each & every one fascinating. We support shelters & pet adoption

They Need Our Help

When we hear about the beautiful animals that are endangered, harmed or being displaced, we wonder what we can do to help. There are a few organizations who are dedicated to protecting and saving these creatures.

Below are a few ways that you can help them help the animals by purchasing products that give a portion of their profits to animal charities.

These are a few really easy ways to help!

Dawn

Dawn has donated thousands of bottles of their dishwashing liquid to wildlife rescue workers at The Marine Mammal Center and International Bird Rescue.

By supporting Dawn, we support wildlife rescue.

Tall Tails Mousepad

You can help Caboodle Ranch add an infirmary for the cats. It is badly needed.

Any purchase of their cute Zazzle products or direct donations would be greatly appreciated.

National Wildlife Federation

Play an important role in wildlife conservation with a symbolic adoption. You'll not only be helping protect America's precious wildlife and the habitats they depend on, but encouraging a life-long love of nature.

For as little as $30.00 you can adopt an animal from the National Wildlife Federation and receive a plush animal, a Certificate of Adoption and a 11'' x 14'' full-color poster. Choose from over 35 different animals.

Animal Kingdom Playing Cards from theory11

theory11 manufactures limited edition line of Animal Kingdom playing cards.

Theory11 donates $1.00 of the retail price of each Animal Kingdom deck to WWF,

2014 Wall Calendars from Barnes & Noble

For 2014, Barnes & Noble offers 29 WWF wildlife themed wall calendars, including wild cats, polar bears and penguins -- as well as 2 spiral-bound engagement desk calendars featuring baby animals and wolves. A donation of $90,000 is made to WWF in connection with the 2010 WWF calendars.

Choose Baby Animals, Wolves, Polar Bears, Hummingbirds, Songbirds, Wild Cats, Frogs, Penguins, Pandas, Butterflies, Elephants or Owls

Sierra Club Animal Tracks Checks
Sierra Club Animal Tracks Checks

Custom Direct Checks

MESSAGE PRODUCTS Checks offers a variety of check series featuring animals and supporting various animal rights groups including PETA, the Sierra Club, the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee and Defenders of Wildlife.

The selected organization receives a royalty that varies according to the individual agreements.

Sea Life Floor Puzzle
Sea Life Floor Puzzle

Terra-Toys

Terra-Toys is supporting WWF by sending approximately 5% of the sales price of each purchased WWF game or puzzle from participating stores which includes Walmart & Calendars.com.

WWF Games made by Terra-Toys include floor puzzles, Chess, Checkers, Dominoes, Tower Tumble game & a Wildlife Memory game.

WWF Gift Center

WWF is a nice way to send a gift to someone while donating to a very worthy cause. They have over 90 little plush animals to adopt including my favorites the vampire bat and the polar bear.

For a $50.00 donation you will receive a plush pet of your choice, a photo of your pet, and adoption certificate and a gift bag.

Endangered Species CHOCOLATE

Endangered Species Chocolate donates 10% of net profits to help support species, habitat and humanity.

There are several "adopt an animal" collections available. You can select collections that include plush elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, gorillas, leopards, rhinos, wild dogs or even a wart hog!

A specified portion of the proceeds from each of these "adopt an animal" collections is sent directly to AWF.

I like the idea that Dawn dishsoap contributes to wildlife conservation efforts. It would be nice if more products we use every day would do the same thing - we could be contributing every time we go to the grocery store!

A wandering animal and nature-loving Angel loves these ways to help wildlife. I'm thrilled to see Caboodle Ranch included here. Craig does amazing work with his volunteers. He has truly given his life to improving the lot of the caboodles.

This planet and the creatures that live on it are worth protecting. When it's this fun and easy, it is something we can all do.

Blessed for the research that went into this wonderful lens, and for the caring spirit in which it was created.

I first joine WWF gosh, has to be in the 1990s! I had a plush polar bear from them which I think I donated with some other plush critters to FCNMHP as I can't find it in my office. A terrific humanitarian thing to do -- to help save wildlife -- we all need to step up to the plate.

I got to know the WWF a bit when I did a university project reviewing global education curriculum. I'm bookmarking this because it's one of those things I want to link to... on something I haven't written yet.

We are on that stage of time that we need to save and preserve each and everything on Earth.

Good that you have listed such company which can donate some part of profit to wild life charity.
