Tell us about your album launch
I am currently working on my second album launch. The album is titled “Yesu Wastahili” and features 7 powerful songs. I’ve had the privilege of working with top producers from Kenya and some well- known ministers in the country. Just like my first album which did really well and even earn me an award. I’m believing this one will make an even greater impact. I have collaborated with amazing gospel artists once again, and I’m truly excited for what’s coming!
Who are some of the artists expected at the launch
We will be having Rose Muhando ,Wapendwa Music, and many other respected gospel artists from Kenya Its going to be a big blessing
What did it take to organize such a major event?
Honestly, it took a lot, Prayers, money, time and a lot of planning. Prayers were the foundation. Finances were also a big part because good music and events need investment. I spent a lot of time preparing and making sure everything is done with excellence.
Clearly, organizing such an event shows growth, can you take us through your music journey?
It has not been easy. I started music when I was very young. My first song received a lot of favor and my second one was a collabo with Rose Muhando, that really opened doors for me and brought me into the spotlight. But back then, I didn’t know much about the industry. I just kept going to the studio, singing, Writing more songs. After releasing my first album, I went silent for one year just to learn more, how to write, improve my vocals, and understand the industry better. That’s why if you listen carefully to my second album, you’ll notice a big difference in quality and growth.
What are some of the challenges you have faced?
There have been many, but the main ones are financial. Sometimes I do not get money from skiza tunes, and at times I struggle to raise funds for studio sessions. But I have learned to keep going regardless.
What do you believe contributed most to your growth in Music?
Prayer and sacrifice. Also, commitment and passion, I have always wanted to see myself grow. I listen to other artists doing better than me and learn from them.
You once travelled outside Kenya, was it music-related?
Yes, I was invited to Tanzania to do some songs, and it was a great experience. This year, we’re planning for South Africa, and I am really excited about that.
How did you get international connections?
It’s all through Music. As many songs circulate in different countries, People begin to notice and invite me to minister. I have come to know that I have a lot of fans listening from outside Kenya too.
How can people support your ministry?
The best way to support is by listening, sharing and playing our music, both locally and internationally, on all platforms. Thats kind of explore really helps us keep going.
