Every US Marine Should Know These Answers!

This quiz is about America's elite military branch, the shock troops of the US armed forces, the United States Marines. I'm not a Marine; I spent three years in the Army. But I've always held them in high regard. Hence, this Marine Corps quiz. If you are related to, or know, a US Marine you might get half of these USMC trivia questions correct. If you've served in The Corps, you may get 8 to 9 correct. I'd be very surprised if anyone got all ten correct. If you do, you are a true student of the history of the US Marines Corps! Good luck! My personal favorite is the Korean War scenario. It's June, 1950. Your South Korean Army is poorly equipped without tanks or anti-tank weapons. Your American contingent numbers only 500 troops of the Korean Military Advisory Group (KMAG). Before it's all over, though, you will command over 1,789,000 American soldiers, Marines, airmen and sailors, as well at over 40,000 troops from 17 other UN countries. Do you stand and fight? Do you make an orderly withdrawal, blowing the bridges as you retreat to slow the NK advance? Will the North Koreans push you all the way down the peninsula to Pusan before reinforcements arrive? Will you be able to pull off an amphibious landing at Inchon to turn the tide? Or will you decide to land further north in North Korea, itself? Will China enter the fray? Everything depends on the choices you make. Take command!
