A Bullet Like in the Movies… Is Reality in America Just a Screenplay?
A sniper fired a shot that seemed straight out of an action movie. The question is unavoidable: is what’s happening in the United States merely a security incident, or has the country slipped into a continuous cinematic scenario?
Was the young man behind the trigger trained on a remote farm, under the care of hidden forces? Did he own a dog he loved and feared losing—yet was convinced that his moment would come, that he would be smuggled out at the right time, part of a larger psychological game in the name of a “coming war”?
The bullet struck in a very difficult spot — was that deliberate? And is the U.S. administration waiting for someone to remind them: place bulletproof glass in front of politicians, make them wear protective vests? Isn’t America supposed to be the land of technology and maximum precautions?
Then, who exactly is this young man? Just an ordinary person persuaded to act? And if so — who persuaded him? Friends? Social media? Or is this something far larger than persuasion? If he acted out of personal conviction, then he was either empowered by America’s own aura of strength, or he was enabled by the weakness of its security system.
Is there another “state within the state” in America that mobilizes individuals according to its own agenda? Was this no more than a line in the long book of politics, a simple tool to distract public opinion from bigger issues? Was it meant to intimidate the rival party? Or was the shooter nothing more than a pawn in a much bigger political game?
If this was an intelligence fabrication, perhaps that would even reassure us. Or maybe an enemy fabrication, or any kind of fabrication at all — the key point is that it not be a genuine personal conviction. Because the idea that each of us could execute his own private belief is the most frightening possibility of all.
It is like social media itself: once institutions with oversight, now transformed into arenas of chaos — phones, dances, killing, and endless words. The world has changed too quickly, and the earth feels as if it is preparing to depart. But the final question still hangs in the air: if the earth departs, where do we go?
