Arranged Marriages- Why They Are Wrong
Recently there has been a lot of descusion in the media on the subject of arranged marriages.
Therefore i have produced this piece on why they are wrong.
Every human being should have a choice in marriage and should not be forced into something they do not agree with. Religion plays a big part in the subject but this is the 21st century, not the dark ages. People should have freedom of speach.
Its every humans right to be able to go out, see a few people and when they are ready, settle down with the person they love. I believe that any one who would rather dissown there child just because of whether people will look down on them, really need to open their eyes to the world around them.
As for arranged marriages for females that are under 16 should be made illegal. Girls around 5 years of age being forced into marriage and do the 'deed' on their wedding night to males much older than they are, should not have to experience sexual relations of any type until there bodies are mature enough to deal with it. Many young girls who have been in this situation have had serious health issues afterwards and many are not able to concieve or go full term.
The laws state that killing is wrong, but forcing a young girl to go through this if surly a form of premature murder to the unborn. Its every womans right to have children, some cannot for medical reasons but it it right to take away a womans chance at having children and starting a family? The answer is no!.
Any young girl under 16 who has to marry a man much older should have the freedom of speach and as for the parents, they should get sentenced on accounts of encouraging rape.
Although the males who are forced to marry should have freedom of speach as well, they should also have the chance to explore the world and find and fall in love the natural way.
Any one who forces a young child under the legal age should have the book thrown at them for child abuse. Also i believe that any religons that support arranged marriage should be changed by the authorities so that every human being can make their own descision on the topic.
