Let a friend know you are thankful for them!

We can't choose our family, but we can choose our friends. Friends help make our days lighter, and more fun. They can help us through hard times, or just be there to listen. It's a great idea to remember our friends, and thank them once in a while.

One great way of remembering our friends, and letting them know we don't take them for granted is communicated through a card, note, or phone call or email. Why not let one of your friends know you care about them, today? You will bring a smile to the heart of a very special person.

Sentiments that can be put into a Friendship card:

Thinking of you and thanking God for our friendship.

Your friendship is definitely something to treasure. Thank you for being a friend.

Your friendship is a very special gift from God.

Thank you for being a very special friend.

For all that you are, and all that you do to bring joy to others, thank you. You are a wonderful friend. God Bless you.

Thanking God for our friendship.

A true friend really listens, sees your heart, and understands your dreams. Thanks for being a true friend to me.

When I think about what a wonderful friend you are to me, I am reminded again of how good God is. Thanks for being my friend.

You have been there through thick and thin, thank you for being my special friend.

When I think of all the wonderful gifts that God has given me over the years, I am reminded of you. Thank you for being my friend.

The wonderful joys of friendship are one of God's most amazing gifts in this life.

What we share together as friends, is not only a treasure now, but will be forever an amazing gift.

You are a true blessing in my life, and I am so thankful to God for you!

I just want to thank you for all you have done, and for just being there and being a good friend. It means a lot to me.

You are an incredible blessing to so many people. Thanks for being my friend.

May you be blessed for all the times you have been a blessing to others, friend!

I consider myself so lucky to have been blessed with a friend like you. Thank you for everything.

** Verses that might fit well in a Friendship Card or Note

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above." James 1:17

"A friend loves at all times." Proverbs 17:17

"The goodness of God endures continually." Psalm 52:1

"Your love has given me great joy and encouragement." Philemon 1:7

"A true friend sticks by you." Proverbs 18:24

**Whether you send a note, card, give a phone call or just an email message, why not let a friend know you are thinking of them, and are thankful them? Spread a little joy to someone that deserves it.

I wish more people would go back to sending handwritten notes. I miss them. Now a days, folks just send a quick email to say thanks. This is a great Hub. I voted it UP, etc.

Hi Ann, thank you! Have a lovely day, and thank you for your comment and visit and votes. :)

Hi Seekingpeace, thank you very much. I enjoy making homemade cards also, but amazingly, I also buy a lot of cards! Eventually, I plan on converting over completely to making my own, and maybe incorporating my photography of some favorite images. I like the craft of making cards though.

Thanks for your visit and comment, and I hope your daughter might use some of the sentiments in the future, or get ideas for more.

I agree 100 percent. A card for no other reason than to let somebody know you appreciate them. A wonderful act and will strengthen ties even more.

      Good. Ann Davis

up and across for this one.
