Gay Tolerance in America

Is America confusing homosexual orientation with civil rights and equality; and considering it "forward progress?"

"Homosexuality is only partly genetic with sexuality mostly based on environmental and social factors, scientists believe. A study found that, while gay men shared similar genetic make-up, it only accounted for 40 per cent of the chance of a man being homosexual." -The Telegraph

In other words, there is no conclusive evidence that there is a "gay gene." The education Americans need to comprehend is that they're being inoculated to "gay tolerance" and brainwashed into thinking it's now politically correct to be gay tolerant without seeing the damaging consequences it has on our nation. Approval of "gay rights" has become the norm in America and according to God's standards, "gay rights" is not normal. The Bible clearly states that homosexuality is an abomination and is not to be tolerated. It's written in the Bible for a reason; to protect society as a whole and especially their children.

Romans 1:26-28, "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper."

This type of behavior is what brought down Sodom and Gomorrah in the antiquities era and erodes the foundation of any nation today, including the United States of America, in the end, it's everybody's business.

It's illegal to be gay in 76 countries. Punishments range from fines to short and lifelong prison sentences, hard labor, forced psychiatric treatment, banishment, whippings, and death by public stoning. America once had laws and punishments like these against homosexual acts which no longer exist. The homophile argues that these third world countries aren't as educated as Americans and thus is the reason for their ignorance and illegalization or banishment of the gay lifestyle.

These same countries that have outlawed homosexual acts between males also has the highest HIV/AIDS adult prevalence rate in the world (that's straight up information).

In 1779, Thomas Jefferson wrote a law in Virginia which contained a punishment of castration for men who engage in sodomy, which was rejected by the Virginia Legislature, which continued to prescribe death as the maximum penalty for the crime of sodomy in that state. That's sending a pretty clear message that homosexual acts between men would not be tolerated. Now in 2014 there are 32 states that have legalized same sex marriage, what happened to the intolerance and how did we gradually make the shift to tolerance? Did Americans grow smarter over the years, or just continually beaten over the head with "gay rights?"

On June 28, 1969 the "Stonewall Riots" were kicked off by a series of spontaneous, violent demonstrations by members of the gay community against a police raid that took place in the early morning hours at the Stonewall Inn (Greenwich Village, New York City). The homosexuals piggybacked the idea from the African American Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s, the only difference was that the protests by the African Americans were non-violent. Within six months, two gay activist organizations were formed in New York, concentrating on confrontational tactics, and three newspapers were established to promote rights for gays and lesbians. On June 28, 1970 the first Gay Pride marches took place in major U.S. cities from coast to coast commemorating the one year anniversary of the riots. Gay Pride marches and events are still held annually to this day (at the end of June) commemorating or celebrating the victorious Stonewall Riot.

Overall support for same-sex marriage jumped 21 percentage points, from 32% in 2003 in a Pew Research survey to 53% in 2013 in American Values Survey (AVS). During this period, gay marriage became legal in 17 states and the District of Columbia and the U.S. Supreme Court struck down the Defense of Marriage Act that blocked federal recognition of legally wed gay couples. -USA Today

It appears Americans are either not educated or are indifferent on the harm same sex marriages have on our society. Homosexual activists argue that same-sex “marriage” is a civil rights issue similar to the struggle for racial equality in the 1960s. This is false. It's a moral issue (among other things) and it's wrong! It confuses a child and deprives the child of a father or mother figure. Homosexuals argue that "Uncle Bob" can be the father figure role (for lesbians). This is outright ludicrous. Imagine, you're a kid growing up, all your friends have a mom and dad, and you go to school with your two dads, or your two moms, hoping that nobody ridicules you. There's an "elephant in the room" that nobody wants to talk about. Secularists have no objective moral compass to identify their wickedness, evil, and moral decaying lifestyle. Living a homosexual lifestyle is a choice made by some adults, bringing an innocent child into this atrocity of a "so-called" marriage, epitomizes a selfish desire, and is not looking out for the best interest of the child. The psychological impact of children seeing outward displays of homosexual affection is confusing for a child and will stunt their proper psychological development.

Along with sex and violence on TV, homosexuality continues to grow more acceptable in our society, eroding our nation's morals, and undermining the integrity set forth by our forefathers who gauged themselves off the Bible. There are now dozens of homosexual characters on TV and radio shows and like a snake charmer; these characters are bedazzling the American public into a submissive acceptance. Americans evidently seem to be entertained or amused by these eccentric gay characters. What kind of message is this giving our children? If little Johnny wants to grow up to live a gay lifestyle, now it's okay and acceptable by today's TV standards?

2% of U.S. population is gay men yet it accounts for 61% of HIV infection.

A recent CDC study found that in 2008 one in five (19%) men who have sex with men (MSM) in 21 major US cities were infected with HIV, and nearly half (44%) were unaware of their infection

28% of homosexual men had more than 1000 partners: "Bell and Weinberg reported evidence of widespread sexual compulsion among homosexual men. 83% of the homosexual men surveyed estimated they had had sex with 50 or more partners in their lifetime, 43% estimated they had sex with 500 or more partners; 28% with 1,000 or more partners. T.V. portrays Christians in America as intolerant to the gay lifestyle that we’re close-minded, bigoted, hypocritical, and we show contempt towards homosexuals. That’s not the case at all. I wait tables, serve, and work with homosexuals, and we get along just fine. It’s the homosexual act that we disagree upon. I would be bold to say they would frown upon me sharing and acting upon a natural impulse of ripping a chicken’s head off so I could kill it and eat it, because I was hungry and I was born this way. Yet when gays march down the street each year showing off their gay pride, they’re showing America they don’t care what She (America) thinks. The marches will continue indefinitely. I wonder why we don’t have a heterosexual march or a Japanese march or a Chinese march. Why do homosexuals feel singled out and persecuted?

We all have impulses, thoughts and desires and we suppress them and normally don’t act them out or share our depraved thoughts with others. If I disagree with the homosexual lifestyle and speak out against it, it’s now considered hate speech. Hate speech is speech that offends, threatens, or insults groups, based on race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, or other traits.

Being black or white is not a choice, having a sexual orientation is a choice; they shouldn’t be grouped together in the same law. Either way the political correctness of hate speech is simple emetic word play justifying that hate speech can cause harm physically and emotionally to the victims it’s directed at. Do I now have to worry about being jailed if I stand behind a Christian based fundamental truth and now censor my beliefs? The line separating America’s First Amendment of free speech has now become skewed in the 21^st century. There’s no turning back the sands of time to America’s originating view of the homosexual lifestyle. America will become more and more tolerant to the gay way of life until one day our value system implodes.
