Google launches Google Romance

Updated on January 12, 2009

Well..Well..Love seems to be in the air! Google has decided to play Cupid! Now isn’t this charming? Google is so very considerate and understanding! After playing a major varied and indispensable role in our lives like doing the search for us with its Search Engine, helping us with reference tools like Wikipedia, Maps, Earth, playing the postman in Gmail, photo shop in Picasa, and what not....Google has become mushy! Google has decided to don the mantle of Cupid for the poor hungry souls seeking love, fulfillment and soul mates. Yes, Google has launched Google Romance which is a Google dating service, where you can post your profile, romantic expectations and prospects and Google Romance Search will search for the love of your life and soulmate. How cool is this?

That’s not all! The next part is even more astounding! Google will send you and your soul mate on a Contextual Date. Contextual Date ? Shhh… Google knows best and hence it is prudent that you do not ask too many questions! Anyway, just before your rendezvous with your date , Google and its advertising partners will send you appropriate ads that they think will create just the dating results you're looking for. Isn’t this remarkable? For good results, it is mandatory that you go through the details of Google Romance here.

First,go to Google Romance (www.google.com/romance) and the Google window will open! Upload your picture, profile and romantic inclinations and type in the search keywords and click Search Romance. There, there, your results show up! Now for your free date! Does this sound too good to be true? Did your heart skip a beat and did your eyes roll heavenwards sending a silent prayer? However, there’s a teeny weenie bit of good and bad news. The good news is that you have said your prayers for today and the bad news is that I told you that all this sounds  too good to be true. Well, IT IS too good to be true!

Google romance is one of Google's pranks and parodies Google Adsense! But then,I came across this recently and I just could not resist this hub! Seems like Google is a real tease as well!

Here are some more goodies from Google :

  • Cooking With Google –This is a gem from Google! You can search for recipes with just the ingredients you have on hand at the moment! Don’t miss out on this!

Enjoy!
