Madonna – Secret
It was her second year of college and she was 21 years old. Looking back her freshman and sophomore years seemed so uneventful. She felt as if no one really noticed her. In fact she could remember wondering when would she be noticed and when would she have a boyfriend.
He was very tall dark and handsome. He worked at the computer store in the outdoor mall. Everyday all the girls that worked in the mall would meet in the center and talk about different things, of course all the gossiping would stop immediately as soon as he walked by. He knew he was fine too and would purposely walk by just to get their attention but they didn’t mind, not at all, in fact they would worry if he did not walk by and wonder what was going on.
He was very sexy and they all stood around waiting for his daily lunch break. They would wait and watch as he went on break. They would wait and hope that he would come out and walk from his work to the Mexican Restaurant, the grocery store, the Chinese Restaurant or somewhere else in the mall. They would sit in the mall courtyard in the sun just chatting away about the latest mall gossip. She would just sit and listen because she was new to the group and still really shy, unsure and insecure. He came walking towards them, his suit jacket off his dark chocolate arms glistening in the sunlight, his skin looking dark against his white wife beater that fit snug against his chiseled chest. He looked like he had walked straight out of GQ Magazine; tall, dark and handsome was an understatement. She would later find out that not only was he smart working for a computer company but he was also very sexy and a male model on the side. She would learn later on that looks are not everything and it would be a very hard lesson to learn.
One particular day she saw him walking through the courtyard and was sure that he was walking towards one of the girls she was sitting with and had no idea at the time that he was coming straight for her. Yes he was coming right her way and when he approached she thought she was going to pass out right on the spot. She felt like everything had stopped at that moment; the moment he asked her out.
It was a normal Saturday night it was still warm outside because it was summer, she was wearing a brown dress with buttons up front and thick straps the design was beautiful and the dress had caught her eye when the girls were window shopping at the mall. She simply had to have it when she put it on it made her look like she had curves (well of course she did) but this dress gave her body such a shape it made her feel so sexy and surprisingly it fit so well. She gave herself one more glance over and then had to actually throw up she was so nervous about going out on a date. She had been on so few she was just not sure about this. She was mad that she had to brush her teeth again (she did not want to spill anything on this dress) so she bent over the sink one more time trying to avoid getting her toothbrush anywhere near the back of her throat for fear of having to get sick again and brushed her teeth and tongue almost scrubbing. Then she decided to steal some of her roommate’s mouthwash to make sure that there was not a remnant of puke on her breath.
There was a knock at the door, she tried not to throw up and instead walked to the door. Everyone from the house was sitting in the living room and they were all staring at her as she walked by them to the door. Of course they were making comments to her the whole time but she heard nothing as she tried to control her breathing and her stomach. She knew she would hear it again when she got home. She opened the door and tried to usher him out but that was not going to work with her nosey roommates. So she made some very very quick introductions and waved goodbye to her roommates as she shoved him out of the door.
They walked to his car, it was a small car and really didn’t fit him or so she thought at the time and she tried unsuccessfully to figure out the personalized license plates. Was it a name or something? She quickly forgot all about that as he opened the door for her; this was all very strange and new to her. On the drive to the club they talked, small talk and she was slowly calming down but kept making sideways glances at him not believing that someone that she had drooled over from faraway for so long was sitting right next to her. She was so shy at this point especially when he gave her compliments on the way she looked, on her body and her smile. She was not sure how to act or react; this was all so new to her.
They drove to a club she could still smell the warm evening air as the sun was slowly setting making it for a slightly hazy evening. She could smell the flowers that were in bloom and feel the material of her dress as it clung to her torso. He opened the car door and let her out; he shut the door to the car and faced her looking into her eyes. She fell back slightly against the car his hands were on the car on either side of her head. He leaned in to talk to her and she was melting with his every movement. They talked for a while and his hands moved from either side of her head down the sides of her hips. She was breathless and not to sure what she was supposed to do, she was trying to catch her breath without him noticing. His hands felt good on her hips they would move ever so slightly but were very strong against her body. She was finding it hard to concentrate on his words but she could not keep her eyes off of his. Her heart was doing flips and at times she could feel it jump to the base of her throat. She wanted him to kiss her right here and right now but was also unsure since they were still in the parking lot and there were people all around. They kept talking still small talk at first and then he started to say things that made her feel oh so good. Letting her know that he had been watching her at work, how sexy he thought she was and how excited he was that she wanted to go out with him. He was excited? Was she hearing him right? Was this a dream? She had so many questions going through her head and then without warning he was kissing her and she was lost in his kiss. The kiss felt so good, so warm, so inviting she did not want it to stop, ever. Could this kiss get any deeper? Oh yes it could and then forever came to an end but she still felt so good. She felt like she was floating. He apologized to her for being so forward she wanted to laugh but didn’t say anything. They talked a little bit more before going into the club. There would be one more kiss that night when he dropped her back home but she would replay them both in her mind over and over again until she saw him.
It would be several days before she saw him at work again and she still was not sure what to do was she supposed to go talk to him or wait for him to come to her. She decided to wait and she was happy when he finally approached her. She had a very long and nice talk with him outside in the courtyard. She could see the girls watching them from around the mall and tried to avoid looking at them. She tried to look into his eyes while he was talking but kept having to look away because she was still really nervous around him. She kept thinking back to their “date” to his hands on her hips, to their long deep kiss. She wanted those feelings back again, she wanted to reach out and grab him right here and now. He smiled at her and asked her what she was doing after work. She had plans but was ready to dump them all just for him, so she told him that she didn’t have any plans at all. He was happy to hear that and suggested that they get together right after work. He was willing to wait until she got off since he was done an hour before her. She was shocked that he was going to wait for her. This was all too much for her. He left her out in the courtyard while he went back to work; he was not even gone for 5 minutes when all the girls were next to her. They were all looking at her waiting for her to talk. All she could do was shrug her shoulders and smile. They grilled her for the rest of her break about what happened on their date they wanted every last detail. She of course did not tell them everything she was not that type of person so she gave them very limited information. She decided not to tell them that they were going to meet after work either. She figured they might see them or maybe they wouldn’t she would deal with that later. Before she got off of work she saw him pass by with another person, it was a girl who worked at the mall next to theirs in one of the men’s clothing stores. She had seen her plenty of times and did not think too much about it at the time, but she would remember that moment later on.
After work she took her stuff to her car which was parked in back of the mall. There he was leaning against her car waiting for her. She was not really expecting him to be waiting there for her but she was happy he was there. She walked over to him, he didn’t move from in front of the driver’s side door. She was not sure what she was supposed to do until he held his arms open. He said nothing as he pulled her into him and drew her closer to him. He leaned down and slowly brought his lips to hers, he was moving so slowly she thought that they would never kiss. As soon as their lips met she was in another world just floating. She did not want this kiss to end and was very happy that it went on for as long as it did. When they finally stopped he held her close looking into her eyes and talking to her. They were talking about what they were going to do that afternoon. She actually did not care what they did at all. She just wanted to be with him all day and night. So they went to go play golf and then went to have dinner it was nice for the time being…
