How to Tell He's Falling in Love with You

Updated on September 26, 2016

Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage. --Lao Tzu

It is a feeling that everyone experiences at least once. The undeniable, can't stop thinking about him, butterflies in your stomach type of love. If you're anything like me, it's quite easy to tell when you yourself are in love. But, much times it is a mystery if the guy you are in love with is falling in love with you.

Here are some tell-tale signs he indeed is loving you right back.

Contacts You Often

If a man is falling in love, it will be hard for him not to contact his woman often. If your guy is contacting you frequently throughout the day, sending you inside jokes and asking how your day is is likely he is falling.

PDA (Personal Displays of Affection)

Now I'm not talking full getting it on in public, but if your man is not embarrassed to be touching you in public, this is a good sign. Often, just a light touch on the back or a squeeze of your hand in line shows he adores you. He would not be doing this unless he was proud you were is woman.

**Note: Beware the player that does this to every other woman he knows.

Family & Friend Time

If a man is truly falling in love, he will want to know his woman's family and want his family to know her. This is often a true test to a man in whether he will spend a lifetime with a woman. If your man is introducing you to his parents and other family members this is a very good sign. If he is inquiring about your family life, this is also a good thing.

Just as importantly a guy will less likely be taking you around his group of friends unless he is considering something pretty serious.

We's not Me's

If your man is suddenly going from saying what "I'm" going to do on the weekend, to what "we're" going to do, you know he is getting closer. Many times until a man is fully committed he will never refer to anything in a relationship as a "we".

After a fight, he openly says he is sorry. This shows that a guy truly cares how you feel, and does in fact love you. Saying sorry is a hard thing to say for a lot of people, even people in love, so this is a true sign he's very into you.

If you man remembers a lot of details about stories you have told him, he is quite possibly falling in love with you. When a guy really cares about a woman, he will do his best to truly listen and get to know them. If your man is bringing up past events often and telling others about things you have told him he's probably in love.

He Says It

The surest sign of love is when you comes out and tells you. Don't be wary if a man tells you he loves you sooner than you do. Some men have to say it as soon as the know it. Trust his words--he loves you!

When did you know your boyfriend or husband was in love with you?
