How to love correctly

Updated on March 19, 2012

What is love?

Welcome readers. I have written many articles about relationships but I'm going to take a step backwards with this article. First let me start with the question what is love? The answer varies from person to person. I think we all can agree on that love is complex. It can be fun, it can be free, it can be wild, it can be painful, it can be strong, and it can be endless possibilities. Their is no incorrect way how to love someone but their is a way you can do it and be smarter than the rest. The first thing you have to do is be open to the possibilities. Love is a RISK. You don't know if it will be returned or not. If it will survive or not. If all that work will pay off or not. Yes having your heart ripped open and being made a fool of is hard to come back from. A lot of people rather push someone away then risk that possibility. That to me is incorrect. WHY? Well our purpose is to live our lives like trail and error. Until we find the place were we belong. We won't find that place if we hide away in place we call "safe."

The Joy of love

Falling in love feels like your driving a huge truck with 8 wheels without training for it. Every turn is almost reckless. Although it is fun when you have your side kick in crime beside you. You do the most craziest things, you have the weirdest arguments, and yet you still hold hands after it all. It can be a ultimate high feeling that takes you away from even common sense sometimes. Love is a gift. It is the second most special gift we can ever give to another human being. The first being children obviously. The strangest thing is that love has been around since man and woman was created and their is no manual telling us how to do it! We have one for almost everything else! Truth is everyone experiences love differently. So enjoy the memories!

Never a right time to say goodbye

Now lets explore the risk that it doesn't work out. That you loved someone but things just fell apart. Sometimes it is so hard to walk away because you just don't want to believe that it could happen like that. I want my readers to understand one thing. The point of this article is to tell you that you should use that pain as teaching tool. To become a better person. I know as i'm writing this article there is a lot of heart broken people out their saying why did this happen to me? Their is never an answer to that question but you can understand that this person can break you or make you stronger in the end. That's up to you. I want to tell you sometimes you can believe in someone and they just don't believe in their selves. What i mean is they don't believe they have a heart to give anymore. You can't force someone to love you or need you like you do them. It's time to walk away.

Lastly..

To love correctly you have to be smart about who you choose to love. Don't just give your heart anyone, but don't give up on love either. Remember if you turn away from someone who loves you for you it maybe very difficult for you to find someone else who will. So when you find someone look into their heart. Forget their image, forget there flaws, LOOK at their heart or into their eyes. If your not ready for love its okay, just take your time and take care of you. Just don't lie and say you are just because you want someone to fill the down time you have. That is so messed up. The only way we can incorrectly love is when we don't love but have hate inside. Thank you for reading i hope you enjoyed my article. If you want to leave comments on the bottom of the page you can. :) ciao.
