Just Because Nothing is Happening Now Does Not Mean He Does Not Care
So there is a guy in your life that you really like. You are pretty sure he likes you. The only thing it looks like it is going on the road to nowhere. Maybe he even pushed you away and said "We are from different worlds." Yet he still talks to you. You can't stop thinking about him. What do you do?
Just because nothing is happening right now does not mean that he does not care. Do not stress yourself out and jump to conclusions. The only thing that will get you is depression and anxiety. Most of the time when we assume the worst we are often wrong and we get all worked out over nothing.
Keep in mind that you are not always around him. You don't know weather or not he is thinking of you. You could be on his mind when he wakes up in the morning. He could be telling his friends how much he really likes you. You are not around him all the time to witness that. Maybe if you try to make him jealous and he does not do anything it is because he does not want to show you that he cares.
There could be plenty of reasons why he is not doing what you want him to do. Maybe right now he feels that you are from different worlds and he is scared to get hurt. So he pushes you away. You aren't there to see him cry or get upset after he pushes you away. Maybe he has money problems and feels that he can't treat you the way that you deserve to be treated. Maybe he doesn't want you putting your life on hold for him so he pushes you away because he wants you to be happy.
Maybe he is shy and does not like talking on the phone. Maybe he does not have a lot of experience with girls. If you are dealing with a guy who is very shy and insecure you can't expect him to chase you because he won't. You have to give it time and have patience. You have to show him that you love him and that you are not going anywhere. Then when he feels comfortbale with you he will take that risk with you.
Have you ever pushed someone away but you deeply cared for that person?
If a guy's face lights up when he sees you he likes you. If he asks about your day or takes an intrest in your intrest he likes you. If he hangs onto every word you say and brings it up in future conversation he likes you (most guys do not remember things). If all of his co-workers know about you and are nice to you he likes you. If he opens up to you that is extremely important because it shows that you have a deep emotional connection. It shows that he trusts you and he feels comfortable with you. That is an important part of a relationship.
If he liked you for a couple of years and still does that is another good sign also. Most guys out there want one thing. When they do not get it they will not talk to the girl again. If you tell him you want to wait and he is okay with it that means he cares. Guys like that are hard to find.
Just because nothing is happening right now with you and the guy you want does not mean he does not care. It also does not mean that it cannot happen in the future. There is no time limit. Many people meet and at first it many not work out but then years later they meet up and get back together. That's called fate and destiny. So if you are meant to be with someone you will. It will happen when the universe wants the both of you to be together. You can't make yourself stop loving somebody because the more you try to stop thinking about somebody the more you will think about somebody. Just do what makes you happy, do what you feel is right, love yourself and let everything fall into the place. Do not try to control anything just let things unfold the way they are meant to.
