Love : A Common Misconception
What Is Love?
A common misconception that rings within the bells of the human mouth is the word, "love." We often express so effortlessly what and who we love, but seldom remember HOW to love.
What is Love? By today's definition, it is an intense feeling of deep affection. Hmmmm? Wait a minute; so when some may say that they love their significant other, they have an intense feeling of deep affection for that person right? Ok, but this "intense affection" does not in any shape, form nor fashion ward off the "intense affairs." An intense affection does not set a stand of integrity, grace, and effort.
Love, by Christ's preset and examples, is patient; love is kind. Love isn't envious, does not boast nor brag. There is no arrogance in love. It is never rude, crude or lacks decency. It is not self-absorbed. Love isn't easily upset. Love does not calculate wrongdoing. Love delights in truth. Love puts up with anything and everything that comes along; it trusts, hopes, and endures no matter what.
Ladies: Love isn't a man ONLY paying your bills. Love isn't a boy that impregnates you then abandons your child. Love isn't being beaten, battered and bruised. Love isn't bashing and lashing with the tongue; tearing you down the words.
Men: Love isn't envisioning a woman through the lens of lust! Love isn't a big booty and a smile! Love doesn't reside on the exterior! Although her hips and thighs may hypnotize, her heart must pull you in. Love isn't a woman calling you every 3 months when a bill is due and pays you back with a dinner and a movie, which is STILL on YOU! Love isn't seen through the eyes, but through the heart!
Love is WHAT it DOES! Meaning: It is countless numbers of actions relentlessly and repeatedly done WITHOUT complaining, and worrying! Guys, love is flowers throughout the ENTIRE year rather than just on Valentine's Day and Mother's Day! It is words of affirmation that build and develops your empire through the empowerment of YOUR Queen!
Ladies, love is respecting your mate! It is giving up your time for "we" time! It is asking YOUR man, "How was your day?" Love is understanding who you are and loving every aspect of your life WHILE patiently waiting on your king!
