I Love You

I love you- English: Miluji tě - Czech Republic:Unë të dua - Albania,Обичам те - Bulgaria, 我愛你 - Chinese, Volim te - Croatian, Jeg elsker dig - Danish, Ik hou van jou - Dutch - Ma armastan sind - Estonian, Mahal kita - Filipino, Minä rakastan sinua - Finnish - Je t'aime - French, Ich liebe dich - German, मैं आपसे प्यार करता / करती हूँ - Hindi, Ég elska þig - Iceland, 愛しています - Japanese, 당신을 사랑합니다 - Korean, Es mīlu Tevi, Latvian, Inħobbok - Maltese, Jeg elsker deg - Norweigen, Eu te amo - Portuguese, Я тебя люблю - Russian, Te amo - Spanish, Ninakupenda - Swahili, ฉัน รัก เธอ - Thai, Я тебе люблю - Ukranian, Tôi yêu bạn - Vietnamese, Rwyf wrth fy modd i chi - Welsh.

No matter where you are from or which language that you speak these three little words are the most powerful words that everyone longs to hear, I love you when said to you personally means the earth the moon and the stars to you especially if it is the right person that says them to you.

When you hear the words I love you, your heart skips a beat, you feel like you are walking on air and all the troubles in your life vanish for that brief moment in time.

Love You

What is Love?

Innamimate object

Sisterly Love

So Just What is Love?

Before we can find out the true definition of love we have to try to understand that there are different types of love,

A mothers love for her child is different to the love she feels for her partner.

Sisters and brothers share love.

We love our friends

We love our Pets

We even love certain innanimate objects.

Love is only a four lettered word but it is a word with infinite meaning, because love has a different meaning to every one who experiences it.

if you look in a dictionary for the meaning of the word love this is what you will find:

1. a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.2. a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend.3. sexual passion or desire.4. a person toward whom love is felt; beloved person; sweetheart.5. Synonyms:
1. tenderness, fondness, predilection, warmth, passion, adoration. 1, 2. Love, affection, devotion all mean a deep and enduring emotional regard, usually for another person. Love may apply to various kinds of regard: the charity of the Creator, reverent adoration toward God or toward a person, the relation of parent and child, the regard of friends for each other, romantic feelings for another person, etc. Affection is a fondness for others that is enduring and tender, but calm. Although the dictionary definition of the word Love is quite expansive, it is also rather dry and does not really explain the range of emotions that you go through when love knocks on your door.

Is it Love?

A World Full of Love

Am I in Love?

I have met this girl and I like her a lot but I don't know if I love her, How do I Know if it is love?

Most People would answer this question in the same way if you dont know if you are in love then you probably are not because when you fall in love you will know all about it.

I tend to disagree with this outlook because quite simply Love can grow over time, you might just like this girl at the moment but who knows how you will feel about her in a week, a month or even a year from now.

some people are good friends for years before one day they suddenly realise that they are head over heels in love with each other, the movie When Harry met Sally is a perfect example of this.

Love can be an instant attraction we have all heard of couples who claim that it was love at first sight, the very minute they set eyes on their partner they new that they were meant for each other. others would argue that this was Lust for each other rather than love and that initial lust led to love.

Everyone experiences love differently so if you ask me, Am I in Love with him/her?

The answer that I will give to you is simply only you know the answer to that question.

Everything is Love

Almost every time that you switch on the radio there is a love song playing, in almost every book including the bible there are love stories, in most movies the hero or heroine has a romantic liason, open a newspaper there is an agony aunt giving advice on love, in the street you see lovers young and old walking hand in hand, in school or at work you gossip every day about who loves who.

Love is all around us we cannot escape it although sometimes we wonder when love is going to come for us.

Another great hub. Love is a topic that can be very hard to write about at times because so many people are trying to sell the infamous love books that are affiliate programs.

However you do a great job and it is very obvious that the angle you took is very unique.

Great job and now your hub is up on my blog.

The link to my blog can be found on my profile page.

      Cheers

THIS WAS SO INFORMATIVE. I THINK THE GREEKS HAVE THE BEST LANGUAGE TO DESCRIBE LOVE, FOR THEY HAVE AT LEAST 4 TERMS FOR DIFFERENT KINDS OF LOVE. THOSE LIKE YOU TYPES OF LOVE THAT YOU LISTED ABOVE. THE GREEKS HAVE SPECIFIC AND DIFFERENT WORDS TO DESCRIBE LOVE IN ALL ITS FORMS.

LOVE TO LOVE YA JIMMY. I AGREE W/YOU ON THE IDEA THAT U CAN FALL IN LOVE WITH SOMEONE AFTER A LONGER RELATIONSHIP. IT IS NOT ALWAYS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT, AS YOU SO DEFINITELY POINT OUT AND SEEM TO AGRRE WITH. LIKE ME...A ROMANTIC.

When I first met my soul mate, something happened instantly to attune us to each other. We didn't meet again for the next 8 months. Then we both a attended a meeting. He was late arriving. The minute he walked through the door at the back of the hall, I knew and turned round. It took another year of friendship, mainly through email with the occasional meeting, before the lust set in ;)

I know "Rwy'n dy garu di" as the Welsh for "I love you". I've heard it often enough from my soul mate :))

Two more for you: "Kocham cie" (Polish) "Mi amas vin" (Esperanto)
