Love is stubborn

Updated on January 18, 2016

There are millions of people in this world, but sometimes you need just one.

The one person you love the most. For whom your love is unconditional. No matter what happens, what he has done to you, whether he really loves you or not, nothing seems important to you except the fact that you love that person and need him the most at this moment.

You go back into the old good memories, where he has been nice to you. You ponder over those memories again and again. When you know you can’t have that person back and still you hurt yourself by looking and thinking about the reminiscences. People around you tell you to leave him, they ask you to stay away and give time to yourself, but at this point of time the only thing that satisfies you are his thoughts, his sight, his talks, his pictures and his memories.

You try over and over again to forget about him, to be oblivious to his memories. But you can’t. You take a deep breath and think of the times he had hurt you, lied to you but nothing is helping you to come out of his recollections. You may get angry for some time with him. However, again you start thinking about the love between you two. You wish that the time you both spent would have been longer. You feel helpless and weak; you don’t understand how you can have him back.

Now you try to be strong and forget that person, you try to hide your feelings, overshadow them, close them tight in a box , put heavy things on the box so that the feelings cannot come out but what happens- they outbreak ,cause a storm in your heart which rain from your eyes.

But sometimes you wish you had.....

Radhika, There are actually over (7 Billion) people on this planet!

Odds are in each and everyone's favor that there is more than "one" person who make an ideal mate for any of us.

There is no such thing as a "sole-mate" but there are lots of "soul-mates".

Having said that it's human nature to romanticize the past or only recall the good things that took place in the relationship.

Nevertheless at some point one has to do a reality check.

In order for him/her to be "the one" they would have to see (you) as being "the one". At the very least a soul-mate is someone who actually wants to be with you! (And vice versa).

As you stated there comes a time to put past relationships in a box and move on. Truth be told most of us (fail our way to success) when it comes to love and relationships. If this were not the case we'd all be married to our high school sweethearts! :)

Letting go is the first step towards moving on.

      One man's opinion!:)
