My Cathedral Heart

April Poetry Month Poem 18

You have brought my heart

From a dark cathedral

To a perpetual glow

Richly lit, exquisite.

*

You are the light inside me

Creating a kaleidoscope

Of rich colors.

I am a poem to read.

I am a song to sing.
