My Tam, the Love of My Life

I Lived a life searching for hands like yours

I treasure a smile simple and sure

Eyes of admiration so blue

Your eyes pierce me

They lead me to tears

They open my heart to joy

Tam I never thought I could find true love

I often thought a love of purity open honesty did not exist

Tam you have taught my heart to ache

For the love of a woman like you

I would die at a stake

Tam you have given all your best to me

Here on earth and through eternity

I will smile while I think of you

Tam I never thought I might achieve

But because of you, Tam, I believe

Tam we have traversed a hard while

I know I have made you cry

And hide your smile

You never gave up Tam you would not quit

Tam you have given my life worth

We have a purpose now for life

Tam you ended my doubt and strife

As we go forward day to day

Before our Saviour we pray

HE will guide, strengthen protect

And let us never forget

HE has our lives in His hands

As we journey to speak HIS truth

I rejoice it is with you

No other can I imagine by my side

My love in you surely abides

Tam your love has set me free

Free to love free to trust

Free to let emotions flow

Free to let love grow

Tam I love you forever more

You are my life my bliss

You show me my strengths

You convert my weakness

To knowledge and understanding

You make my flaming anger

Subside to ambers

I now know grace

I know happiness and peace

Tam I needed you and you came

Just in time to pull me from the abyss

If I live to be 100 I guess

I will never be able to repay

The debt of love owed to you

The best I must say

I am proud to proclaim

Tam my love my life my wife

I wrote this for my wife. I love her so much. I need a source of strength someone who pushes me and believers in me as she does. I know the saying of every successful man has a good woman beside him, well that is so true. I could not be where I am without her.

 I know with her I can do everything I need to get accomplished in this life. My source and strength is from Christ, He has saved my soul and changed my life ( a new creature) and He gave me Tam, my Tam, He uses her to help me and keep me in line and smooth my fiery temper.  He gave my a lady that is able to calm my nerve and yet give me boldness and power. God is on the throne knowing just what He is doing and how to control things. See we look to God and pray to Him and wait for answers. Sometimes we just need to listen to the answers coming from elsewhere. He uses her for those answers so many times. 

 I love her so very much and praise God He has given her to me and uses her to keep me grounded. God is good and to be praised, and my wife well she is special, Tammy I love you, Michael!
