My experience of the bottomless pit
I am still falling.
The apostle John mentioned the bottomless pit in his book of Revelation.
Some people may wonder, what he met by the bottomless pit.
Some people wonder if the bottomless pit really exists
Some people believe that the bottomless pit is similar to hell.
There may be various theological views on the bottomless pit but we know that many people are afraid of a fall so we can imagine what it means to fall into a bottomless pit.
A fall can be painful depending on the impact felt on the fall. That is why people are afraid of a fall, any kind of fall even to fall in love. Yes falling in love can be so painful especially if we fall into the wrong place. That is why love can hurt and the wounds may never heal again.
I experienced the bottomless pit in an act of love when I fell in love. Then I exclaimed, “Please, help me for I can’t help it, for I can’t help falling in love with you.” No one heard me calling because the pit was so deep and endless. I was afraid because I didn’t know the impact of the fall and how it would hurt. I wanted to stop the fall but I can’t help myself so I was afraid. I have been falling since then but I still can’t hit any spot. It is truly a bottomless pit that has no end, because I have been falling since I came into existence and I am not even close to its end. I am no longer afraid of the fall because I now know that though love can be painful, I am certain that even if I shall ever get to the end of the bottomless pit, I will fall into a safe hands because it is the hands God sent and used comfort me. Unfortunately the fall is endless because it is an endless love.
Sister, thanks for giving me an experience of the bottomless pit, an experience most men never experienced. Happy birthday and more of God’s blessings and protection and more years of celebration.
