Near the Now

Updated on April 30, 2015

Expiration heavy upon me, final words, I have no choice but speak

Feeble and withering, my trembled lips whisper weak

My love, absent from my deathbed, not here to pacify my pain

"I can't die without feeling your kiss once again"

The stay of my flesh is out of my control

The bonds of our souls is imperishable

Pained emotion, bringing tears to my heart

Paradise before my eyes, your world I'll soon depart

Posthumous, I'll appeal an angel to engrave:

"I'll be blowing you kisses from my grave".

This again is pretty powerful stuff , your writes are so full of substance and you make every mundane word sing with meaning, a true art to be so deep without the help of clever words.

This is what poetry is all about !!!

      Exalt !
