No! Angels don't have wings

Updated on March 11, 2018

Some men gave descriptions of Angels as they may have seen by visitation, inspired, vision, dreams, or revelation. Whichever means most of them said or wrote that Angels have wings. That is likely why most pictures of Angels are made to show their attached wings. The belief in Angels with wings may be because Angels are, expected to be, heavenly beings. Consequently, they need wings to fly back to their holy abode but we know that some Angels are evil because Satan, is said to, rebel against God. Some people claim that Satan has his angels. Therefore Angels may not, necessarily, relate only to heaven but the main idea of an Angel is for good, or God sent. That can be said to be the main reason God made Angels.

I am hypnotised by thought as I remember the first I saw an Angel. That day, the sun shined with a mysterious kindness and love was roaming in the air that I breathe for the continuous existence of my soul. My eyes caught her eyes, and I was immediately weak and helpless as love set me on fire. Oh! What a holy flame, I burned and fell in love over and over again till the present day.

What do I consider and ignore the other? Her beauty cannot be falsified, and her grace overwhelmed the physical environment and heaven were brought to earth, just as some people expected, and I rejoiced to be a witness of the promise of the saints. She cannot be said to have been created else it would be an injustice in the art of creation, for such beauty cannot be found among the mortals. Then I recalled from the scriptures that Eve was the last to be created and so it is that women were naturally equipped by the creator to arrest the emotions of men. Truly, if she was created, then she was created after all mortals were created when the creator most have learnt from his past creations and got more insight in the art of creation that she was equipped more than the mortal women.

I was afraid to mingle purity with an impurity that her first smile purified my soul. That was when I confirmed, without doubt, that she is an angel. Her kindness overcame my fear of the unknown that stood before me. So though I was filled with respect for her being, I walked up to her and made my feelings known to her else I would have died, for no man can overcome such encounter. I became uncertain as I wondered if I was still on earth or in heaven?

No wonder William Sharepares wrote that people would say he lied if he writes that angels dwell among men. Then George Moore penned, “other men, it is said, have seen angels, but I have seen thee and thou art enough .” she made me confirm the words of these men. Angels are kind, good, loving, and beautiful; she got it all. Though beauty is in the eye of the beholder yet her beauty can never be denied.

My love, from the day I saw you I knew I met an Angel.

You have made me learn the truth that Angels do not have wings. Though it may be because you do not need wings to live among men but you have proved that an Angel is just anyone that meets the qualities of Angles.

we can be angels

Well, it all depends on what you understand as angels. You can see those that have wings while others don't. The fact is that what makes an angel is the trait because there are some nice people we can call angels for instance you can choose be an angel or not by what you do or even be an angel of light or darkness. It all depends on views. thanks for the comment

There are different classifications of angelic forms, forms our minds could not possibly conceive possible, but yet they exist.

Take a good look at the Book of Ezekiel in the Bible chapter one describes four angelic beings guarding the throne of God night and day.
